Loving that ya back at the bench Matt hope you and your family have a merry Christmas and happy new year you have given me the inspiration to tackle my 1/32 F/A-18a+ in RAAF service now retired
Great stuff! I just bought myself a 1/48 Hobby Boss A6-A for Christmas ( I get what I want that way) and plan to build as a Marine machine out of Da Nang so this build has been super helpful. I think taking the 409 to the radome was very smart. Funny you should mention Night Shift since I watched Martin's latest video just before this one.
a great video but the profanity is just not necessary, my five year old daughter watches your videos and..... just kidding matt 😉 fucking awesome work all round. love the radome. 👍👌
Sweet build! I built my Academy version when you started this & it came out well! As you know it's 1/2 the price of the Tamiya for a reason 🙄 but still very doable🤗
Your skills are out of this world. So damn impressive. I would have a million questions for you but an easy one would be where did you get that fucking paint stand?
I have been modelling for many years and have developed a few of my own tips and techniques and have been passing this on to my children. I think you have some fantastic and realistic finishes and would love to be able to show my 8 and 10 year olds your methods, but sadly, some of the language you use does not permit this. Please expand your vocabulary to allow your techniques to be demonstrated to juniors.
So 1 - No. This is my channel and no one is forcing you to watch. 2 - What kind of parent forces kids to watch modeling videos? 3 - They already know all the words (and those are probably the only entertaining parts for them)
Doog's is doing what is essentially a free Master Class on model building that costs you nothing to watch. And you are going to complain? The amount of time it takes to produce a video and upload it is not worth the pennies TH-cam pays out to monetized channels. So why do some of us do it? Because we enjoy showing our work, which also shows our personalities. So, maybe turn on the TH-cam filter then and stay away from the content marked "Not for kids."
Glad you backed up a bit on the radome scuffs, it’s in a great place now. It’s been good having you back and pushing the envelope again
Thanks for this - it was really useful. I’ve never tried inks and this has me tempted.

That ps771 is the cats ass best airbrush purchase I have made yet. Sharp phantom.
Your Phantom is starting to look well used and abused. Glad you are back.

As soon as he mentioned not using hairspray, I immediately thought of Uncle Night Shift.

I tried but I just do not get along with the Academy version. It's definitely buildable but the engineering just makes me upset.
fantastic
Cracking video...back on fine form Doog but I can see a profanity gripe in your future lol!
On my navigation lights I use bare metal foil first and then the clear Tamiya red or green looks like a clear lens.

Masterpiece Benchmate
Your compressor is just like my wife.....every time I go to say something....
Hi Matt. Did you receive my PM? Victor
Just replied - sorry about that, page PMs are a UI disaster
I’m getting real fed up with your compressors shit!
Have you ever consider a Skyhawk?
Did one several years ago. I've actually got a 1/32 Trumpeter A-4M but nobody does low-viz markings in 32nd for them so...I wait.
Love you videos, i was considering a Waco CG-4A
👍
What he said 😉

I'll have to deal with this shit later

You kid shouldn't be watching TH-cam to begin with at that age.
