As a Model S owner, I hope the blazer ev sells well, we need every manufacturer to be successful to increase competition. Tesla is killing it in every way. If GM (in this case) can figure out how to get the Blazer EV to make money for them then we should all be applauding. Right now, GM is losing money on EVs like Ford. Dealerships need to stop increasing the price over MSRP, they are a big reason why EVs are not selling.
For the Tesla, owners would most likely use the App on their phone. No need to even take it out of your pocket. GM's "key fob" is expensive and unnecessary.
I test drove both recently. I am having a hard time making a decision. The Telsa is much faster which is nice, has better range, better warranties, and a better charging network. It is also considerably cheaper than the Blazer, especially with the current .9% financing. But the driving experience on the Blazer is much better with actual knobs, and a dashboard directly in front of you. I like both and it is a difficult decision. My wife hates the Telsa for some reason. I must admit the biggest detraction is that you cannot disable the one-pedal driving. I am not a fan. I don't want to constantly have my foot on the pedal.
No announcement yet when it will come to Australia, hopefully the 2025 model is available. Would ride great in Australia, a lot smoother drive then you'd expect.
After watched the whole video. Conclusion: Blazer EV has the same features as regular GM gas equivalent. Nothing to write home about lol! Tesla is way to go! Pet friendly features, convenience, app controls, and constant new features by over the air updates, better charging infrastructure, etc.
If the Blazer is well equipped EV or ICE then its good reason to write home About Like the model X and S unlike the Y and 3 and i like tesla but there is a big But It Lacks a lot of the things we want like HUD Dash and Ride Quality
You buy a Tesla online via the website, there are no hidden fees, no pressure sales and no dealerships to deal with. You select what you want exactly and your vehicle is custom ordered to your specifications. Everyone pays the same price as listed on the website although they do offer different incentives throughout the year. Everything leading up to your vehicle delivery is done online through the Tesla app. For me that was one of the biggest advantages. Every single time I’ve spec’d out a vehicle on an OEM’s website when I bring that into a domestic or Korean dealer its a huge fiasco in terms of what is available and how much it will ultimately cost. NO THANK YOU!
I’ll make this easy for you. The Tesla model Y is far superior in technology and software. It just works. The blazer does not. The software doesn’t work. The car does not work. It will be towed to your local dealer frequently.
Whoa really? Im considering upgrading from my volt and these are on my top picks currently. Can you elaborate more from your experience please? It would be very much helpful to me. Thank you
Not comparable at all, I understand where you’re coming from but you even know the model Y is far superior in every way that matters. This kind of comparison doesn’t hold up against the test of time…consumers will choose the better product
you are not biased at all, are you?

Thanks for your insight David, we appreciate your take on the EV Market.

Tesla has a phone key. Not just the keycard by the way.
Any info on availability of the various trim levels in the next 6-12 months?
We should have all available trim levels available within the next 6-12 months.
How does Hp of dual motors compare?

@@Kenshin_Trani love my Blazer Ev
That’s great information. Thanks for doing this comparison
Thanks Nate! We hope you enjoyed the video.
You are nuts!! Tesla uses the phone fob with ways to see live cameras and plenty of controls...
I really appreciate how unbias your review was considering you are a GM rep. The Blazer looks really interesting.
I wish Tesla would release a true suv or crossover. Model Y is not it.

What features on the Model Y do you find to be the best?
Cargo space
@@surgenorbarrhavendidn’t mention the Tesla App that allows you to NEVER need the key card. The app is so much better than a key fob.
@@MrLSDownliner Oh wow, that's a great addition to the Tesla Model Y. Will mention it next time.
Teslas are so plain Jane. Minimalist is the nice word.
Wow this is a funny video 😂
