The Vervet Forest is a wildlife rehab series focused on Vervet Monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation . The series showcases the process of taking orphaned and injured vervet monkeys through a foster mother program which helps these rescued orphan baby monkeys to be adopted by foster mother monkeys. The show is for fans of animal planet, nat geo, discovery and anyone who is an animal lover, loves animals and would like to be part of helping them get back to the wild.

That, in itself, shows just how you have put your hearts and souls into this foundation... Mark cleaning the quarantine and the cage and the tree branches and the fencing! 😲. Wow!! These vervets are cared for... truly cared for in every humanly possible way!! That was important to see!

Its funny, people were complaining so much when Kyle left, yet the videos have actually improved and been more about the monkeys lately. Sometimes a fresh perspective is refreshing. 👍👍 And the fast action scenes of the work that goes into caretaking are awesome.
Thank you so much for your comment, we're intentionally making is less about people and more about the monkeys, but also showing the staff and vols when appropriate as they're big part of the sanctuary and deserve all the credit they get. 😁

Most of all, I absolutely LOVE the Vervet Monkey Foundation and what they're doing for all the Vervets and what they want to accomplish for them!! I'm so glad I joined and became a n Alpha member!! Each week your episodes continue to get better and better. There is so much going on there. I really enjoyed watching the cage care in fast motion and seeing Terk being reunited with his foster mom. That was quick. That is epic work on everyone's part their at the VMF. I am just so glad that I can do a small part by watching, liking and clicking on the ads to help you out. People can also have VMF as a charity on Amazon where a portion of the money they spend goes to the charity of their choice.

Doing the fast forward of the cage cleaning and maintenance monkey care was a nice and cool new twist!!! Lol, honestly, seeing how well cared for these monkeys is in this video and All the other ones have made my decision to "join" and support you guys. I wish so badly that I was able to go down and volunteer, but I can't at this time. Lol, when the monkey cage was done being cleaned up and he was going to get the food, that monkey never took his eyes off him. It was so cute how he followed him around in the cage to see all that he was doing. Then once the food was on the ground or "served" lol, the mad struggle to get that dang door open so could get to it was hilarious!!! Thank you for the cute and positive videos, especially during this negative time we are unfortunately in. I am very grateful for your efforts!!!!

@Dave...I know you have been doing this for many years, so want to know how did you discover that troup monkeys would foster these babies? I think it is amazing but just wondered if you saw something that made you realize to give it a try. Thanks Dani
Hi Dani, we use to have a foster female that was humanised that helped look after the babies many years ago and she did a great job, the problem was feeding the babies, sometimes she would grab the bottles from us and it was not easy to get back, thats when we thought of the feeding cage, the system has just developed overtime, with the co-founder Josie perfecting it a few years ago
I enjoyed watching Mark clean the cage. I've wondered about the food that is tossed over the fence into the enclosures. Is the old food ever cleaned up?

As for the Ads what happens when you watch through a video, the internet and youtube I guess thinks you like the product being advertised then bombards you will related ads. So thats the problem with that.
You only have to watch the first 30 seconds and they get full credit for it. As for the other thing..that's AI for you!🙂

Are you able to explain more about why Ala is in quarantine, what quarantine means for monkeys, just general information. Kyle was so good at that miss him.
It may have been in a past video when Quinn was in there. New non-baby arrivals must be quarantined for 4 weeks to ensure they have no contagious illness or parasites, to assess health and behaviour, and allow them a safe quiet space to get used to their new surroundings.
