I tried both spoilers on the Feltzer and multiple ones on the Zentorno, but could not find any differences. Similarly, I could not find a difference by pulling back - cars still take off in the same manner - but it can decrease air time a little as you touch the ground sooner.

It would please enough of both sides. Too realistic is can be boring and annoying, and too arcadey is rather unimmersive and requires zero effort/challenge.

Yes this is what spoilers are meant to do, it's to make the vehicle be more aerodynamic by directing air downwards. That's why some school buses may have a spoiler, since buses, are insanely not aerodynamic. Itll be to increase engine efficiency. Thank you for listening to my physics lesson.
