I work in an industry that deals with plumbers, among solicitors, the general public, builders, town planners and every other walk of life you can imagine... I can always tell when I'm talking to a plumber before they even tell me.
It's because they are always the happiest and most polite people I speak to, like they are loving life every day.

I can't believe how something as big as that plastic bowl was could make it part way down the toilet. Obviously tha toilet has a big mouth and somewhat of a "delicate" throat. I'm impressed on how you can fit your hand up into the bottom of it. The openings in the bottom of the toilets in the US are too narrow for that. I LOVED seeing and hearing that swirl in that drain as that giant clog let loose. I'm sure that drain was sighing with relief. Thanks for the day brightener, Bruce.

Watching from rural NY. Seriously considering sending this to my elderly mother to show her what an unflappable positive attitude looks like when faced with some unsanitary situations. I own a power snake myself and have had to use it dozens of times due to root plagued drains. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. That's what I'm wondering, I saw it and was like "how? Who?? Why???" Cause you KNOW that was containing food in it before, did someone flush it to not get caught eating something? Were they too lazy for the trash? Are they too young to know?
My guess is kids. When my kids were small, the little darlings put a bunch of bathtub ducks down the toilet. Pulled the toilet and gave the neighbors a good laugh emptying in the front yard.
Kids can't reach the sink. When playing with their First Tea-Set. Child ingenuity. Get small bowl. Retrieve water, drops bowl. Oh shit. I'm not putting my hands in. Flush.😂

After having paid for sewage unblocking several times - and it costing a fortune, one of the plumbers recommended I get myself a whip hose and get it on the pressure washer. Ordered a hose and a cheapo head (3 jets back one forwards) and I haven't had to pay for unblocking again! There is indeed a satisfaction that comes along with seeing all that brown water rush away down the drain. (It was tree roots.. who knew). I just do it once a month preventative to keep it flowing. Keep it up mate!

Hi mate, i became a plumber when i left school and stuck with it ever since. I always found drainage work interesting and satisfying.
