Rover P4: Upcoming work

In this video we will look at a few areas of the car that need attention over the next few weeks, let's call it a taster of what the next videos will cover in the rolling restoration of my Rover P4 80.

Many thanks Ivan. Looking forward to tackling the jobs. Starting with some of the easier work and moving to some of the more involved such as a few of the small areas of body that need attention ( although it's mainly solid). David

Looks like a good one if you can get over the missing two cylinders.
The boot light has integral switch operated by mercury which makes contact when lid opens and angle is correct. Generally a new switch is needed to get it working
Radiator should be painted black gloss but not too shiny.

Thanks, It is a solid car with a lot of work carried out by the previous owner over a Twenty year period.
I'll check the boot switch thanks. I've looked at quite a few images of engine bays and it seems there is a 50/50 split between brass and black tinted Radiators. I must say my preference is Black, I've painted a few items on my Elan with smooth hammerite to good effect so I think I'll go with that.
I'll see how I get on with the 4 pot!!
