When you first get into a relationship, and eventually take the step towards marriage, never in your wildest dreams did you think you would be looking up "Signs My Husband Hates Me". But here you are...
Sometimes people in relationships feel their husband hates them when in reality, their husband is still very much in love. And when that happens, there can be a big sense of relief. So it's important to determine what the signs are that your husband has fallen out of love and is swimming in the hate feelings.

All of these were my ex. It was SO confusing!! He'd say he loved me but then treated me like this.... and he WOULD NOT LEAVE! I could feel his contempt and just assumed he thought I was such a loser....😢

2 months ago... I just looked in my TH-cam inbox today and saw I made this comment. Smh. My husband doesn't hate me. I know a lot of people came to this video, like me , cause they are having a bad moment with their husband or maybe it happens a lot. Things change. We can go through bad seasons and some good ones. I don't think it's worth breaking up a family for. Sometimes I am guilty of our problems too, being petty or over dramatic or unforgiving. I know it's hard cause we can have a lot of pride and sometimes it's hard to just forgive in your heart. You just gotta do it. It's better from there. Just didn't wanna leave that dumb comment up there. It was true and I was upset... sometimes we as wives do get upset cause we don't feel we are being treated like we imagine we should be. Sometimes things change. Thank Jesus he is working on my husband and me. Maybe things are different with a husband who doesn't pray. I don't know.

adriyah ellis do you mean who prays the most? I don't know but we both pray. He wants to follow God- Jesus, but sometimes it's a struggle for both of us. Marriage is hard like being a parent is hard- much harder when their older and some people have it harder than others. Gods still working in us. Praying that God is going to finish the work that he started in us- finish the work he began in me.
Praying for revival in me first- I need it. I have bad days but he picks me up again. Thanks for your prayers. I need them.
My husband never lets me finish a sentence. Every conversation turns into a fight. Every single one. No matter what the subject. I can’t finish any sentence unless I scream it over him after he’s interrupted me. Or stop him and say “Can I please just finish my sentence?” And he mocks me and says “Nobody was stopping you.” He has zero respect for me. He mocks me, taunts me, thinks it’s funny and doesn’t care if it upsets me. In order to be listened to at all I have to scream and cry. It’s exhausting. I can’t live this way anymore. He also has never been affectionate. I settled when I married him. He didn’t check off all of my boxes. He was cute, smart, funny, and we had a ton in common, but zero affection even from the beginning and it definitely didn’t get better and will never get better, is only getting worse. I guess I’m done and am stupid for ever having married him. I wish I had never married him, I regret it. Thank you for this video. I was really going through a terrible time in my life with family behaving terribly around the death of my father, and a toxic job, and I put all of that off on my husband. He’s not perfect, but neither am I. I left the toxic job, and I have cut off contact with most of my family, and suddenly so much anxiety, misery, and constant stress is gone. I’m a much more pleasant person to be around and so much less reactive. And, oh how weird, suddenly I appreciate my husband so much more. I think we’ve both learned how to be better at this relationship, and I must admit to my mistakes. Thank you so much for responding!
The painful reality is that many of these Red Flags can happen earlier in a relationship, but just not as severe. Many people make the mistake of getting to a new milestone in the relationship (moving in together, getting married, having kids), thinking that when they enter a new chapter, things will get better and the negative behavior will improve or go away. Oh yeah my husband is emotionally abusive, calls me dumb everyday, cusses me F you every day, pushes me away in public when I try to put my arm around him, stonewalls me, saying I make him psycho in all is narcissist- sociopathic glory. When I cry he mocks me, imitating me crying saying I brought this upon myself. No one deserves thus treatment. I have a bachelor's degree, and he only has a GED, but I don't care about that. But he says for a college graduate I am the ultimate dumb ass. Hurts me so bad I really think he will jump up and down with joy when he sees me dead.
It sounds like pretty severe emotional abuse...I worry for you and hope you can make decisions that put yourself first and take care of you.

My 25 yr marriage went down the drain when I noticed he was a lieing ,cheating violence narc. I love him but he hate me to t he core. He cheated on me all his friends and his side chick laughed at me and I was a fool. I did so much. This relationship teach me never to love so much. 2 yrs and I am not seeing anyone can't trust or/all won't let anyone get that close again. Never again.

My husband treats me like an enemy. The problem is my wntire life I've grown up seeing the male figures in my life like my grandfathers, my uncles and my dad loving and supporting their wives and treating them like their bestfriends so that has become an expectation for me, yet my husband never holds hands or cuddles or laughs or even talks to me like we're friends. He's always in his phone and doesn't get into deep meaningful conversations with me. He doesnt ask me how I feel, I dont think he ever did, he's more formal than friendly and he never says I love you. I'm tired of being in a loveless marriage. The problem is when I ask him he makes excuses and says that my character is the reason he cant be loving to me! or he denies it and cites very rare examples of situations that don't even fit the context. Sad.but true.

My husband disagrees with everything I say and never believe anything that comes out of my mouth no matter how true it is, and even my most reasonable requests he does the exact opposite of what I ask. Then when I try to talk to him about it he gets really angry and stormed off to his man cave. I feel very unheard and yet I’m forced into the position of being the nag mom and he’s like a teenage boy. It feels very passive aggressive and hateful. I have no partner, just a roommate who opposes me no matter what.

My husband and I have been married 20 years. We have two boys 18 and 13. 6 months ago he told me he didn’t love me anymore and completely ignores me. I found out a lot of stuff he had done and told him i was leaving. Then he truly cried and swore he was sorry for some things he had done behind my back. I’ve tried so hard to fix things but he continues to ignore me and acts like he hates me. There’s no communication, no physical anymore, nothing. I cry literally everyday and i can’t stand hurting like this. We tried therapy and he won’t go anymore. I just don’t know what else to do other than get a divorce at this point. He has made me feel so unattractive and obviously wants nothing to do with me anymore. I’ve never felt so bad in my life. Emotional abuse is definitely part of this too. I’ve prayed and prayed but 6 months of this is too much. I feel like I’m having a nervous breakdown. 😢

I think my husband is under a lot of stress and we both have made financial mistakes. But when he makes a mistake like canceling my original health insurance and then getting a new one that was double or triple the cost of my original health insurance (which wasn’t even health insurance we had to cancel it too.) over the last six months he acts like we should just sweep it under the rug because “everyone makes mistakes.” This situation got so bad that we couldn’t even pay rent for 3 months and at first his landlord was understanding but later she is upset so we are going to give her our tax money when it comes in.
But when I make a mistake like running the heater for too long or too hot in the winter, it’s like the world is ending And he said that I “ need to pay for the electric bill for the next two years.” Um no. I still have medical bills to pay for for when I thought I had health insurance but didn’t. It’s not like he is going to pay them.
I don't know if he hates me but I am sick to death of him complaining to his friends about what an awful person I am.

My husband does everything you mentioned. Especially when he puts me down because I have rheumatoid arthritis, bad heart and other health problems. He tells me I'm lazy and doesn't understand I can't have a house that's shiny and perfect when we have 5 children it's so hard to keep it nice here. I fell recently trying to clean the top of the fridge and ended up getting a hairline fracture on my hip, that was 2 months ago and now I have a lump on it. I haven't gone back to the doctor because I'm scared it's something bad. He taught the children not to respect me or to help me around the house because it's my job. I can't touch his money and if I pay bills on time he gets so angry he yells at me. Honestly I really hate him and I'm miserable I don't know how much longer I can put up with it. I have no one to turn to or ask for help not even family.
I hear you. I understand the health problems and put downs. I too have no family to help. Where about are you? Remember one thing. God sees all and he punishes people like this. My grandad abused my mom when she was little and he ended up dying in a car accident. Another man who did this to his wife who had cancer ended up getting cancer himself and dying from it 3 years later after she divorced him. She survived and living a happy life with a new man. Trust in God and prey everyday.

Yes, when you're chronically ill and don't have anywhere to go they can neglect and emotionally abuse and you can't do much about it. I pray you can find peace within yourself until your change comes, be strong.

I got so sick of the sex games that I’m the one who doesn’t want sex. He withholds affection of all types when he’s got a grudge but as soon as he’s done with his grudge he expects sex. Oh I’m sorry hubby but my grudge isn’t over this time, and at no other time will it be. Other than sex, he does all these other things. I always feel like I have to be ready to be at war.

I dont know what to do. My ex fiance/boyfriend pretty much describes that he doesnt want to be with me anymore, but he tends to not clearly state " I AM DUMPING YOU" as of the past few years, we have been in this cycle of him saying he's angry about things ive done in the past while depressed which i have owned up to but he tends to repeat when he's angry, tells me he tried to make things work but that i am basically no longer wife material to him and then he turns around wants to make up and act as if we are still together until it seems that we are. Its a mouthful but to me it seems like i should just move and never talk to him again. idk what to do honestly. Im so upset im shaking.

Same. I think all everything is true except for the physical abuse. We don’t have kids but he’s completely stopped caring for our blind dog and his elderly brother. No sex nothing I just feel at a complete loss and he won’t talk to me. I just want to run away

Im pregnant too. Due in 2 weeks. And dont feel bad about your body caise pregnancy and motherhood is a beauty thing. We have problems ourselves..me and my husband of 1 year. Due with our 3rd child. I dont know what to do myslef but pray. Do you have family you can visit with? Maybe try and spend time with those ypu love and who loves you. My husband is avoiding me today and its saturday. I dont have any close family near me and all my brothers are married. Ill probably just go to library and read... Or im jist going to be upset if i stay at home with him. This is a very emotional time in our lives cause we are pregnant. Do something good for yourself.
Blush Amir I think that you have to love and accept yourself first in order to love someone else. I know It can be hard if you are not comfortable with the way you look right now but you can change that!, try to eat healthy and exercise... ones your baby is born you’ll be able to work harder on your goal and you have to work on your mind to love your soul 💕

It sounds like there's still a lot of resentment and pain there on his end. It's important he tap into that instead of expressing it through anger. Because you two will not be able to thrive unless you tap into the deeper issues that are going on. It takes a long time to heal from cheating, and a long time to rebuild the trust.

Hi Shauna. Thank you for sharing your story. I think there are a lot of things you two need to sift through before marriage happens. It sounds like trust was definitely broken, and it sounds like you're not getting your emotional needs met from him, which can make for a very unhealthy and unhappy dynamic.
Start over you know he wasn't enough yet you stayed for guilt and responsibility of loving someone not on your frequency
