This gives me so much serotonin! What a sweet little peanut! I heard that when cats sleep on their back with bellies exposed that means they feel really safe and happy. So precious he was already doing that in the car ride!
Hearing you talk about losing Margo made me tear up so much. I lost my tortoise shell Boo very unexpectedly in June and my heart is just broken. I got her two weeks after my husband and I got married, and we celebrated our ten year anniversary in May. Hugo is just darling and I pray he helps heal your heart after losing Margo.💜🌼🌈

Hugo is so adorable. 😍🐱 I am so sorry about the loss of your cat Margo. I experienced the same loss of my cat on July 13 of this year a day after his birthday and I had my cat in 2009 and he was the most loyal cat ever. He was my best friend and it's still hurts knowing he isn't here anymore. 💔

I know exactly how you feel about losing Margo. We lost one of the cats in our family about a month ago and it’s been really difficult. She found us and miraculously no one in the family was allergic to her (we had tried adopting cats for many years, but someone always ended up being allergic during a trial run and then we weren’t able to go through with it). I also had that special connection with her because she had first come up to me when I was in our backyard and then I was the one to name her. Tuuna had only been with us for 7 or 8 years and she was 11 when we lost her. She was a really petite gray cat and was only like 2 or 3 pounds, but she was a fantastic hunter. She had such an attitude and would even bring in live creatures from outside because she was trying to teach us how to catch things inside. She had been very daring, choosing to hang out on our roof if she realized we were hanging out in the attic (so she could come inside and be with us) or if we were just in the backyard, but she had definitely been slowing down. I hope that Hugo (and Luna & Ellie) is/are able to help you with the healing process. I know it has been a little easier for me being able to share love with our 2 and a half year old cat, Eero, that we have had since he was 3 months old.

He's SO CUTE! We lost a dog very suddenly last October...the only cure was to get a new puppy. We're so used to having at least 2 dogs in the house. We couldn't not have 2 dogs around. It is hard because they don't replace that old pet, but they do fill up the place in the family. :)

I feel ya. My cat Champagne was the love of my life! He gave me fifteen great years and I’ve mourned him every day since he passed in 2000. Still love all my other cats I’ve ever been blessed to share life with, but there’s always that one special one. Hugs.

Your story of Margo is so similar to that of my Callie. She was my loyal companion. I never knew her breed for sure either, but I also think she was Siberian. I lost her on Aug. 26. It was also sudden. I noticed she was losing weight and took her to the vet. He said there was not much we could do as her liver counts were very high and her age she would likely not recover. She was with me before I married my first husband who died of cancer at 42 in 2018. We have been through a lot together and I miss her dearly. We were also a 3 cat household.

my cat passed away last year, we had her since she was a baby. it was hard. a few weeks ago we got a puppy, it's defiantly an adjustment after having a cat for so long but feels good to have an animal around again

My family dog had to be put down in May and I still feel heartbroken over his loss. We had gotten a kitten a few months before he passed away so it's been nice to have a little fur baby to keep us company 💛

My soulmate fur-baby passes 27 years ago last week. On the 18th my new fur-baby was born. He/she is a Leo and a tiger in Chinese astrology. I might have my hands full as it’s my first cat. They are off white neva masquerade so they will look sorta like Hugo.
