Sam, I really appreciate you (❤️), but: please inform yourself and get her a cat-buddy, no human can ever replace a feline friend. No matter how much time you spend with her. Being lonely can cause behavioral disorders. Also, she’s way too young to be separated from her mother… She needs to be with her mom at least for 12 weeks :(
Kittens can safely leave their mom at 8 weeks. It’s more dependent on if they are still nursing. There are also cats that do significantly better in a single cat home.
Yeah absolutely no hate to Sam! But I’m surprised that they let her take the kitten with no companion considering single kitten syndrome, but if she got from a breeder they probably care less than a rescue
@@unfairweather my breeder cares an immeasurable amount. I’ve had hour long conversations with her about the care of my kitties.

You probs know this but I highly recommend a litter box with the pearls instead of clay litter! Clay litter is sooo dusty and spikes dust allergies really bad!!! Good luck w your sweet baby she’s BEAUTIFUL❤

What a cutie!! What's interesting about cats is even when you're allergic you may become used to certain ones if you're around them daily. My mom and sister are both super allergic but never react to the cats they own, only if they see a new cat.

Love this! I’ve been allergic my whole life to cats so i avoided them. But adopted my first cat last year, just a domestic short hair one and my allergies were not bad at all. I think it has something to do with them being a kitten and getting your body use to their fur. Then I adopted my second cat, who is a long hair domestic cat. And no allergies with her. I think i made myself immune to the allergies now which is crazy. The more you’re exposed I think the less allergic you are over time.
dying that she loves the pillow more than the bed you got her 😂 that right there is the epitome of cats. My cats are the same way, we’ll spend money on an expensive tree or house or bed and they’ll still choose to sleep on a sock instead ⚰️ congrats!

Lovely kitty 😺 Interesting to see the different process in US compared to here in UK. There aren't any pet shops that sell puppies and kittens here now. Most breeders and rescue shelters will do a home visit and won't approve unless the cat would have access to outdoor space, particularly if it's a larger breed. Are you going to take her out on a lead? Have seen some cats who live in UK cities taken out like that. Wishing you lots of happy times together. x

I have a Persian Mix who we adopted from Egypt. We named her Cleo. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I’m allergic to cats. My allergies have been touch and go. Usually just during the shedding seasons. As a cat mama whose also allergic to cats trust me when I say it’s worth the allergy attacks.

Over time your body starts to become immune. Now I have no issues with allergies and my three babies.
But if I go to my mom’s house and pet her cat - I’ll flare up bc my body isn’t immune.
I have gotten little pokes from the allergist. I’m allergic to weeds/grasses, pollen, and cats. The cats one swelled up right away. Some cats don’t bother me though. I got a bunny as my pet :) she’s kinda like a kitten lol your baby is beautiful!

My little brother was deathly allergic to cats and dogs and my mom got him a chihuahua and supposedly they get rid of the allergies who knows but now he can be with cats maybe his immune system got stronger who knows

I understand about allergies but if breeding doesnt stop, esp with the cat population in the 10s of millions, we will never get a handle on this. No cat is 100% hypoallergenic. Most rescues will do a foster with intent to adopt to make sure it works out with the potential adopters. And the title was misleading you didn’t adopt :(

Your comment may not be filled with malicious intent and I understand the message you're trying to give but it is not necessary under this video.
