They are some of the best tractors ever made, at one time we had 7 4430’s in use on our hay and cattle farm in Western Ky.

i recently purchased and use a 1974 John Deere 4430 for shredding fields and making hay. great tractor! I will slowly be restoring and fixing the old boy to as best of its former glory as i can. with God's help it has not yet seen its best days. i really appreciate your channel. keep the videos going.

It amazes me that the 4430 and 4630 were our big tractors growing up, bought new, they are still here, but the 44 has been moved to the feed wagon and the 46 is now on the mower conditioner. Practically the 2 smallest tractors we still use.

    • @bigtractorpower

The bale is tied as the baler is reversed. Once the twin is cut the bale is ejected. Then the tractor pulls forward to begin refilling the baler with hay to create the next bale.
