    Congrats again on getting that additional stripe on your shoulder 👍🥂. The 'load' will be definitely a lot more than when you were a 2nd Mate, but I suppose a promotion is always welcome. It's normal for any new post to have it's initial 'baby steps' but eventually they will become confident strides. The 'change in your office' location to a few decks below will be welcomed. What makes the post a glorious one is the fact that you will have the sole responsibility of what ships are built for - cargo ! The thing about oil tankers is that the two variations in design features may make you suitable for any one type - either the Framo type or the Pump Room type. As a Chief Mate, experience with handling cargo discharge systems with both types will give you a worthwhile edge. Even stowage planning will vary. And this upload had quite a bit to offer - rescue operation, rough seas, cargo circulation, tank entry, the CCR, fore peak store, supervision of crew jobs, etc. Nice time lapses of both making port and sailing out too. All in all, this video pretty much summarised the rank that's been "bestowed" on you 🙂.

      Thank u for ur support sir!, the load is definitely quite some😂.baby steps is definitely the way to go! The change in office is probably one of the best parts! I completely agree about the the difference in design for tanker ships, it is framo for me atm atleast! Thank you again for watch all in all! And i do appreciate seeing your comments on my videos😁

    Dipping is kind of sounding ???
    Like the same apparatus and process when the metal Bob hits the bottom uk that u have reached properly

    • @NITINCHAWLA
      @NITINCHAWLA  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it’s different apparatus, and a very similar process!! But yes idea is the same!

      @@NITINCHAWLA yes sir 😁😁
      Also i had one more doubt the equipment we can use on the deck has to be intrinsically safe so is GoPro n all satisfy that requirement ? Or we can shoot with anything ?

    • @NITINCHAWLA
      @NITINCHAWLA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We cannot use any commercial cameras on deck unless ur vessel
      Is gas free! There are intrinsically safe cameras / phones available abroad, they’re very expensive, i use either those or a gopro, but i take into account the situation and use them accordingly. Also incase u have doubts, these intrinsically safe cameras and phones do shoot high quality 4k video as well 😁

      @@NITINCHAWLA yesssss the shoot in high quality but eariler i had research about it and there is not much available. But thanks i got ur idea and what you're trying to explain. Thanks for the reply 💛 lots of love, light & energy to you from Mumbai 💯🧿
