this goes for many other animals. even the ones less intelligent, form bonds with loved ones, miss them if they are taken away from them and grieve when they pass away. Nonhuman Animals are taken advantage of and exploited in so many ways and to such a degree, that the human race in general, doesn't even see them as victims.
There’s a Cockatoo with an 800 word vocabulary. They are one of the most intelligent of all of the birds. In fact, they’ve been known to create coherent sentences & answer simple questions.
Lucas Bailey African Greys are the most accomplished when it comes to speech and noise imitation and recognition. But ravens and crows far outdo them in terms of problem solving. Which is why ravens and crows are more often said to be the “most intelligent” bird species.
My parakeet would dance with me when singing in the rain would come on television. I would tell him Gene Kelly he'd fly on my arm and we would dance like crazy. Every bird has its own personality just like every person has theirs.
This bird makes me so happy! All these birds ,not just snowball, but all these birds are awesome, and amazing when it comes to music, they live to dance and move. Snowball, just happens to be a superstar!
I really do believe - I know - birds have souls and big loving, joyful hearts. I do remember seeing a cockatoo dancing to "Macho Man". I couldn't stop laughing! 💕
We had a Cockatoo in our Pet Therapy visiting program that danced to music and talked to the nursing home residents. Good therapy for residents who won't talk or interact with other people the bird really helped them interact and entertain people.
I had a cockatiel, named Humphrey, who danced to a lot of music. He moved from side to side and head bobbed in perfect time to one of the fast movements of Water Music.
I've had parrots all my life . They all appreciated music and had their favorite singers or bands. My male cockatiel just loved "Johnny B Goode" by Chuck Berry and danced to it all over the place with enthusiasm just like Chuck, LOL
I had a parakete that used to dance and headbang to heavy metal music, he would even throw his head back with his beak open during the extended vocals like he was singing.
I have a cocatail at home, a boy named Alex.he can dance and sing, say pretty boy, hello and what u doing, but this bird is a little better than my bird.PS I love u Alex!!
I had a Congo African Grey Parrot named "Gandalf" that used to love to dance to old Stax and Motown music and a Grey Cockatiel named "Jari" who was in love with Paul McCartney's music! 🎶 😁
I have fallen in love with birds in the last 10 years. They are AMAZING and i feel bad because two of my best friends had birds back in the 90's and i thought they were so stupid and annoying. The birds probably thought i was too...haha. I would love to have a bird but im not sure at 68 if i have the energy to keep up with their messes... and then there is my cat!!!
All parrots can dance if they want to but this cockatoo is a legend
cockatoos are big metalheads lmao
Yes also many macaws and amazons also dance. The people in the video discussing this topic know nothing about parrots as a whole or Birds in general.
💛
they can leave their friends behind
I agree 👍
Birds are so much more intelligent than they are given credit for.
Funny that, because that's not what we usually say when a person acts this way to music😁
they are much more similar tu us than most people think.
at the end of the day, Humans are also an animal.
This one follows directions th-cam.com/video/T6QlTK3SQv4/w-d-xo.html
"humans tend to forget how smart other animals can be"

Also intelligent, believe it or not, is a crow. There's some videos on Utube with them talking and reasoning.
@@dafttool That Crow Sounds smarter than half the people on this planet.
@@disobedientavocado5959 Just half?
A crow or an african grey parrot is smarter

They have as much soul as any human. Wonderful birds.

This bird makes me so happy! All these birds ,not just snowball, but all these birds are awesome, and amazing when it comes to music, they live to dance and move. Snowball, just happens to be a superstar!

We in Australia know how smart a cockatoo is and they have very individual characters.
14 different dance moves? Wow there are people (like myself) who don't even have one. Go Bird!! Yeah get funky.
I really do believe - I know - birds have souls and big loving, joyful hearts. I do remember seeing a cockatoo dancing to "Macho Man". I couldn't stop laughing! 💕
Cockatoos and African Greys and other parrots are very soulful, expressive and have a lot of depth we still don't completely know or understand
Spent a decade studying a dancing bird........... Let that just sink for a second.
I think he just genuinely enjoys music & just likes moving his body. Just like humans!!
Agreed! And that is called dancing. Yeppie!
In my opinion, cockatoos are the most loving friendly and fun, Almost Human, of all birds

Every cockatoo I had could dance like that.

Imagine writing a thesis on dancing parrots.
I had a Congo African Grey Parrot named "Gandalf" that used to love to dance to old Stax and Motown music and a Grey Cockatiel named "Jari" who was in love with Paul McCartney's music! 🎶 😁
