  • It's October 1997 and a 27-0 Prince Naseem Hamed just became the first man to stop tough Puerto Rican, Jose Badillo. Lined up next was a bout with America's Kevin Kelley in New York before the end of the year. Kelley was in Sheffield on this night to watch the Prince and interrupted his post fight interview...

    Naz had the X-factor in abundance! It’s a shame so many current fighters don’t get it! Watching Naz inside and out the ring was a buzz!

      @@amerhst1201 his style lacked any scope for improvement......absent of the fundamentals. He brought nothing extra to the table against Barerra, no variance in his gameplan, no improvement in his technique , he naively believed that he could beat everyone in his weight class doing exactly the same as he as he had at european level. Barerra adapted.....fighting at FW for the first time, he turned boxer-puncher rather than brawler & the elite level boxers can do that, Hamed got taught a humiliating lesson in front of the world & no one comes back from that......he knew he could not beat Barerra in a rematch & that is why he did not implement his contractual immediate rematch clause.

    Boxing at it's lowest is better than anything MMA produced in its prime. Boxing is love and respect and the best humanity has to offer the world.

      there is no shortage of boxers brawling before the fight and throwing insults.

    Boxers wouldn't be able to hold an intricate conversation for more than 30 seconds today,without F'ing and cussing or staring blankly repeating the same boring to and froin or putting something silly out on tik tok, they just don't have that kind of charisma no more.But then again people in general have gone abit like that.An actual boxing matchup,built on clever banter is a thing of the past.

    Naz was a tricky fighter, very unorthodox. But his lack off fundamental boxing skills ultimately led to his demise at the hands of Barrera. Once he had lost Naz knew his game was up and would no longer work, he had no fundamentals to fall back on, so he ran away.

    • @rebeltvr6046
      @rebeltvr6046 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That was his ONLY loss, and he went the distance and wasn't knocked down. That's not a demise, that's a blip. The real reason he left was because he didn't like the long training and wanted to be more with his family.

      The name to be Baptized in is Jesus Christ Acts 2v38, and must be in water. John 3v 5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
