    Haha nice have to see him fight to determine if he’s like his dad. Prince Naseem Hamed is one of my favorite boxers of all time! As a kid growing up in the 90s I always enjoyed watching him especially his ring entrances always put on a show!

Hardly trained wouldn't do as he was told ect ect even during the build up to Barrera fight steward was saying this. Naz's family and Naz himself ruined his career as well as fucked up hands.

    What made his dad so good was the unbelievable power he had at the featherweight division and the fact that he could take a punch. If the kid has both of those he will be successful

      ​@@saysamnang9851it's called the sweet science of Boxing. Naz wasn't a hard handed puncher he just knew how to counter punch very well by bending low and using uppercuts. All his fights ended by counter attack punching. That's still a good talent. Not everyone can do what he dose.

      I don't think naz's cockiness is what made him lose. He did lose but it wasn't a completely one sided beatdown like how everyone makes it out to be. Good effort from naz but Barrera was just the better boxer at the end and won. Naz will still go down as one of the UK's best Featherweights and entertaining fighter.

      It's the same thing if you take it with you into the ring! Most fighters don't now how to translate it over to the ring. Some sparring matches can be more brutal than fights! Fights in the ring is the result of training! Most trainers don't know how to hardwire training routines into their fighters. It's a secret!

      @Omar Pasha .. very true.. it’s seem like majority of boxers forget what they learned in training once they enter the ring on fight day... you must master your craft from training to fighting the same energy that you trained to prepare for the fight.. Mayweather mastered it, Canelo, Charlo brothers, Tank, Shakur Stevens and Devin Haney.. there’s not many fighters knows this formula other than the ones I’ve mentioned..💪🏾💯🥊

He's will be a crossover star, internationally, and his father is a legend, so that already gets you off to a nice head start. Gervonta Davis is proof that you can fight guys that no one has heard of or smaller guys, for the most part, and still build fans. Too many cases that prove the opposite of what you are saying, by the way I can say the same for the bout versus Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor. Lets just say Josh definitely had some UK advantage for sure because Prograis put it on him.

    We'll soon see what's he's about on Usyk undercard. I absolutely loved nas and can't see that his training and knowledge hasn't been passed on. Nas could throw punches at ridiculous angles and moved like no other boxer could until maybe now. I'm just excited for the fight

    boxing champ "Prince" Naseem Hamed has been left rocked by the death of his father.
    Sal Hamed, who left Yemen for Sheffield in 1958, took Naz to his first boxing lesson and always encouraged him in the ring career that would turn him into a millionaire.
    Mr Hamed, in his 70s and whose cause of death was not disclosed, ran a corner shop while bringing up four sons and three daughters.
