@@huntermosely7420 Nah no excuses bro. Naseem couldn't beat barrera, No matter how much he trained. But Naseem was a talented fighter and i always tried to imitate him during the years that i boxed, I boxed for a lil over 8yrs amd looked up to prince Naseem. He was one of the greatest fighters imo. But no he couldn't beat Barrera,no matter what. Naseem knew that and thats why he never fought him again and i believe he didnt fight anyone else out of embarrassment for not fighting Barrera if he would have came back to boxing after his loss.

I don't understand why Naz has so many haters he is a legend so what if he is fat now its all paid for. I'm sure he is also deeply effected by the horrendous tragic accident in his McLaren. Boxing needs a new prince but he is a complete "one off" shame he retired early wasn't himself in the Barrera fight but showed he had a chin and a big heart.

Christian Roberts we live in a world where rules don't apply to everybody in the same way, depending, where you're from, colour of your skin, your social status, how much you have in your bank account, I promise you if Nasseem was a white English man things would be quite different, unfortunately the world isn't ready yet for the inclusion, because so long as we still have manipulators and social engineers things won't get any better in the near future, maybe in 500 years who know, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

His only fuck up was falling out with his trainer. When the yanks started training him he lost the edge that made him outstanding. +SuperBad It was actually age catching up with him that was his only fuck up. The first thing to go in any athlete with age is speed and reflexes - the very thing that Nas relied on heavily in his younger years. Fact is that he'd already peaked when fighting Steve Robinson in 1995 and the following year was already on the slide downward. Unless fast boxers adapt to a bit of a new style as they slow with age, they're very soon fucked. Mike Tyson peaked early in the '80s and quickly lost it.

Speaking on his own, he comes across an articulate and sensitive clever guy. Once with his mates he just drops miles. Such is life.

I’ve been watching many re runs of his fights etc, in the past I was a fan, then thought he was overrated, now I’m a fan again. I was wrong and his skill was second to none, and aside from all the cockiness seems like a good man.

Its releasing that book Paddy and prince. I mean he got sued by ingle on this show. Because he said dirty buisness etc. for saying he felt exploited. Ingle wanted 25 percent. He signed with Warren Warren managed him. So manager fee goes to him. Trainers get 10 percent. I think he may get have been better to have paid it. If you see documentary says lead up to Barrera it looks too all over the place luxurious. He's starving himself to make weight. Also. Yeah. Tough give anyone 40 million and you probably can't live in poor area as easily. He also had hand surgery. He seems decent guy. So fuck knows . He had alot racism when he grew up. It probably motivated him. Weird kinda way. And all the gum supported each other. Him being rich he could train when he wanted. Midnight . And some in gym didn't like it. If he didn't get pay days till older. It might have been more successful. I dunno. The Kevin Kelley fight was brilliant. Barrera fight he chicken out flipping rope. Too islamic an entrance. Devout Muslim his brother slagging off Vegas on sky as den if iniquity. What a bell end.

Ha, love Naz - what a Living Legend!... I spent the day with him (doing sound on a documentary), a few years ago, and after his career... He was a really nice, approachable guy - and I'll always remember, he had this bonkers 'prototype-level' Merc. on the drive which had no door handles... Our director persuaded him to do a little shot of Naz getting into the car and driving off etc... However, when it came down to it - he couldn't work out how to open the goddam doors!... Hilarious! - but he still loves his Mercs eh?... 🙏 x

You could say this was the beginning of the end for Naseem.
Once all the boxing people were removed from him, his discipline changed and he wasn't the same.
If it wasn't broke, why fix it?
Could have been the greatest, a real shame.

Jeez, What can you say about Naseem that has,nt already been said, but i feel that he could have gone down in history,as the best Featherweight of all time, he got all of his movement, & most of his boxing skills from Errol "Bomber" Graham, watching, & learning , from him, in thye wincobank gym, but he had another thing, that power that he had was "Freak", it cannot be taught, his legs were very big & strong, he has said that he retired at 28, because his brittle hands could not cope with the power that his legs ggenerated.
There will never ever be another boxer like Hamed, he was a complete one off, showman, supremely confident, amazing, brilliant, fantastic, unique fighter.
