@@rgruenhaus I hear some folks are loyal to specific brands. There are too many amazing ships out there, our goal is to sail as many cruise lines as possible. 8 so far. 9 after we sail MSC and hoping to get on P&O and Viking before the end of 2024. Thanks for watching!

Hiya Walter. Enjoyed your video. Wife and I just did Izumi Sushi on Navigator about 2 weeks ago. We liked it but didn't love it. I guess we are spoiled with great sushi here in LA. Once again, I really like how you use the split screen with the menu, and a nice touch there with the arrow pointing to the item. Like you two we are foodies as well. Thanks for the tip on "taste of" in your live Q&A the other day. Will also watch your recommended food video. Damn, now I'm hungry for some sushi!

I went to Izumi based on this video. I have had many Japanese dishes over the years at upscale Japanese restaurants, and I did not like this restaurant.
It was horrible. I would not recommend it. 😊
So sorry you didn't enjoy it. Izumi is not what you would call an 'upscale Japanese restaurant.' Morimoto's in Las Vegas or Orlando, those are amazing upscale Japanese restaurants. I never said anything in my review to imply that Izumi is an upscale restaurant, it's a specialty restaurant on a cruise ship. But Izumi IS a great sushi place on a cruise ship.
I went here and thought it was delicious I would recommend it
