- Today we are excited to be first to finally test Esurf - the next generation electric surfboard from Sweden. (Don't be confused with inflatable Mertek Chinese board that used to have the same name eSurf but changed it later).
A lot of people have been asking about it and saw very promising videos on social media about it, but finally we had a chance to meet Alexander and Esurf.com team to talk about this amazing board. And not just talk but also ride it full power in different conditions including waves & salty water!
This episode is very unusual, as we go in-depth into features and the future of the industry. Questions we covered:
- How is it possible to create electric jetboard so powerful but at the same time so lightweight and small?
- The future of the industry, safety and regulations of the batteries
- Automotive standards for electric jetboard industry
- How to fly with electric surfboard? What to do?
- Real time tests in the water, waves, freestyle & jumping on Esurf
- World record - 64km/hour fastest electric jetboard on the market for 90 kg rider tracked by GPS and verified Mike. The only jetboard that is verified and tracked in its claims.
- Safety when it comes to learning and kids riding jetboards. Esurf + inflatable tube for kids & family fun.
- Jetboard Submarine - can a jetboard go underwater like a Seabob? Can you duck dive under the waves? Lets find out!
and most important
- How to water your flowers if you have nothing but a jetboard in your pool?
- How to dry your hair if you have no hair-drier and just a jetboard in your spa?
Enjoy this fun unusual episode!
The Esurf is coming in 2019 so stay tuned for more news and updates from Alexander and his team! More info on www.esurf.com

*ESURF Update 2021 -* seems like Esurf is back with NEW OWNERS after a long transitional phase. Check their updates on instagram.com/esurf/
Please note it's a completely different team behind a new model, not Alexander and his Swedish team anymore.

Amazing board! Looking forward to cheaper alternatives in a few years.
Check the new video Top 10 eFoils and Jetboards - Best Electric Hydrofoils 2020 th-cam.com/video/gLiqeiOB3ks/w-d-xo.html
Just seen a board for less than £15... Is that real?
awesome guys!! looking forward to see it in person and ride
Thank you! Really fun next gen board
amazing...love it!
WOW that’s amazing! I want one of these boards.
thank you!
looks really next gen board
Useful on these reviews, e.g with this and the Mako, if you could stop the music for 30 seconds so we can hear what they sound like.
Yes I am doing it in the recent videos. You can hear real esurf sound in the pool scene as well in this esurf video. It's not noisy at all
You to can have one for.......1 B I L L I O N D O L L A R S!!!
if the battery was light enough like the new supposed aluminum airflow batteries could you make it fly? What kind of motor is used in you board? Looks very advanced!!
It’s not ‘my board’, i’m just doing video reviews of all boards! Cheers!
Forget the boards the .!!!!MANSION$$$$ is beautiful and they say money can’t buy happiness I’ll wake up crying every day if I wake up in that mansion Getting so happy like that will make tears of joy stream down my face 🤣🤣🤣
Looks awesome- any idea when it will be available on Jetboardengland shop site?? thanks
I think Q2 2019.. Reach Wayne to book it..
When this will be avalieble ???? I want it so bad :) Have nice bay where i live, for smaller waves at sea :)
Hard to say...
👍 very good, but how much ? And where can i buy it ? ( sorry for my english im from France and i love your videos guys )
Thank you. You can check esurf.com for specs and reach Wayne from jetboard limited!
When the question of how much is it is avoided over and over again it makes me believe it is only affordable to 5% of the population. I'll stick to wind power boards
Esurf never went into mass production, so there is no price tag on it to discuss. Other jetboards are in the range of 10-15k, it's not a secret they are expensive water toys
Very cool but they have to come up with a cheaper alternative to make it really marketable to the average consumer
What is the price?
What about the under water speed in the sea?
they say money doesn't buy you happiness but have you ever seen a depressed person on a electric surfboard??
Best comment!!
Now i just to be insanely rich xD
Really cool though !
can you tel how much cost this funky board ?
Please check the specs and prices on esurf.com
JetSurfing Nation just looked. Didn’t see anything about the price 👍🏻 why not just answer the god damn question or are you withholding so people just wont lose interest because I’m guessing it isn’t affordable.
Perry Olson i’m not selling the boards and the prices depend a lot on your dealer and the country. Most jetboards are in 5k-15k range, this one on the high end
Where can I buy it and please tell me the price ?
Reach wayne from jetboardlimited please
No I know why these things are so expensive How else is this guy going to afford that House.
yes they are expensive, there is a lot of technology going into making it safe
@@JetSurfingNation This technology has been around for decades, only costly thing is the battery and control system, which now is common, the coding for the motor and control systems likely are adapted from the RC industry and modified to suit, i really think these could be manufactured at a much lower cost, to be made available for a lower end consumer price.
What technology are you talking about? Dealing with salty water and electric battery is a next generation challenge that most companies are still trying to solve.
@@JetSurfingNation that doesn't cost as much as it would be to build one. plus they could release a fresheater only version as well if that was so expensive. I've worked with RC components for a very long times and these should not cost near what they do
Did they mention the actual price?
You can see on esurf.com
@@JetSurfingNation Thanks! You seem to have a pretty good relationship with them. Maybe you could let them know that when I google "esurf", their webpage doesn't come up on the first page of results. Kinda weird.
Thz ok I told them. But it’s a new site created few weeks ago. That’s the reason probably.
@@JetSurfingNation Makes sense. Keep on making awesome videos! Cheers
Where can I get JETSURF training in the Mediterranean?
Check wayne in sotogrande spain www.jetboardlimited.com/
or topjetsurfingitalia in Italy..
where i buy?
Jetboardlimited.com
Secador de cabelos Mike hahaha
ive seen similar going for 16,000 euros i expect its the same price...
Yes these are luxury water toys and they are expensive.
Price how much?
It’s not on sale. Please check other jetboards
It's too bad Chinese water is too polluted, or we would have these at a decent price. Its 2020, still can't figure out how to buy this or how much it costs?
Esurf never went into production. However there are plenty of the new boards available this year. Check our reviews...
@@JetSurfingNation ty for the info :) i checked out a few, but still curious when/if this one will be produced. either way, exciting to see innovation :)
Cheers! Esurf is not going anywhere unfortunately. It was a great board but never went into mass markets
But what is the price then?
It is not on sale..But you can get different jetboards .. Compare jetsurfingnation.com/index.php/compare-boards/
Looks like they figured it out. But the price comparison without an actual number scares me. Can I buy a small African nation for less or what?
He makes great points mind you and the video proves it can do everything a gas powered jetsurf can do so hats off to esurf.
You can see number and specs on esurf.com
These Boards are getting cheaper every year. I think Electric Is going to outpace Gas boards in terms of cheaper price first. Saw these in 2010 and were $17,000. Now Radinn sells boards starting at $6,500 which is almost the price of a seadoo spark! I think next year they are going to get even cheaper. I Know for a fact I want a board when they become more affordable since I already own a jet ski. I love my ski, but I want another toy to haul out to the river with me.
It’s not getting much cheaper but yes, the technology improves each year
@@JetSurfingNation Very true, at the same time, this is a relatively new sport, so when availability increases as well as popularity, it will get better.
first!!!
15k euros for the board and battery. :O
Yes.
let's
9:30 douche chills
Guys sorry but I just cannot stand the chord control on such a brilliant product , as it takes me back to the middle ages .....get my Greek fellow citizen to do it wireless !
It's not about "go wireless".. The professional race boards like Jetsurf, Mako, Ewave and esurf use the chord as 3rd level of control to make sharp turns. You won't be able to do any sharp turns without it.
The beginner and casual boards like Onean, Radinn etc don't use the rope but you can't use them for racing or do any sharp turns.
Wow paying for a mortgage hey
Are you showing us your multi million dollar home or the super expensive carbon fiber e-surfboard. Show us the product not your wealth.
We showed all the features. This is a luxury water toy not a mainstream product
On alibaba for 3k I’m making a video exposing their fake business screwing people over
It’s not true. Alibaba crap boards have nothing to do with it. They exist and they copy everything except jetsurf but this one was made in Sweden.
JetSurfing Nation jet boards & efoils same specs and battery. Don’t be silly
JetSurfing Nation jet boards & efoils and your foils. I go to China and see these at trade shows.
I don't know what's your experience is with jetboard industry but you are very naive if you think you are getting a good jetboard from alibaba. There is a company that is making e-bikes in china, which copied esurf and made a lot of white-labelling similar looking jetboards, you can see them here
www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Electric-surfboard-Double-motors-Wireless-remote_62477412598.html?spm=a2700.galleryofferlist.0.0.67483bda0saq4y&s=p&fullFirstScreen=true
They do look similar (visually) but in reality it's a complete crap that will break on the first use. The company is doing e-bikes and has no experience in producing or servicing jet boards that can be used consistently in the salty water. To put it simply, the electricity does not deal well with salty water, so the quality must be exceptional in each detail to have a safe operation, especially in battery.
Another big problem is post sales service and repairs. If you buy a board in china that has no service points in Europe or USA, you are left alone to deal with it when things go wrong.
Check e-surfer forum for all the horror stories of people who bough this crap and later received piece of junk that did not even work.
As for Esurf - it was made on the factory in Sweden and I followed the project from the early prototypes so saying they "copied chinese board" is a joke.
However esurf never went to mass production and remains a very small niche market for luxury water toys and yacht owners in Italy..
Cheers!
