The wheel physics tho XD. Amazing build. Really nails down the vibe behind the name "Voyager." I can't wait for Create: Offroad (+ Create: Simulated) to come out.
@@LineOfThythe wheel jank is because in the design isn't perfect circle, it's a squircle lol. Even in the new update which add friction per block and proper hitbox, doesn't add it tothe flywheel (well it did just work half of the time). So the best you can do is to have 2 ship chained together with the second ship rotated 45 degree to make up the corner. Alternatively you can use miniship to make more perfect circle, however that's probably not too minecrafty.
@@shravan012 Not even close. Minecraft doesn't natively support mods, that's why you have to use a whole different edited Minecraft Jar or use a whole different launcher. After years of seeing so many Minecraft builds, nothing really amazes me anymore. But then this build! Now this is something new and cool!! Fantastic! Made my late night scrolling👍
Going back to the video, I had the idea of defining a different type of glue to use on wheels, which would allow them to be more fixed to the ground, with better properties, prevent slipping and just add some values of friction, grip, slippage, etc. , and could be integrated with normal glues, this would allow the separation of different parts, one that only touches the ground, and another that interacts with it in a more functional way, this would be incredible for making wheels, treadmills and even mechanical legs!
@@submarine6410 I don't really play with create much so i can't really point out how to make a suspension but having one would make the travel smoothness and time quicker, also more rounded weels even if smaller would also help Also having more fuel storage would be good, it is a exploration vessel so it needs a great degree of autonomy, when you turned on the engines it has gone from 19000 mb's of fuel to 16000 mb's of fuel so it is safe to say it does consume a lot, i would recommend a storage of about 500 B's or even 1000 B's of fuel Making extendable side paddles for water movement maybe fix the water traverse speed problem mayhaps but i am not a good builder, if you ask me i would come up with a hyper functional/efficient design but it will look like a box of a single block and withouth any internal space lol Also this is just my wishfull thinking, perhaps you could put a onboard ME system with a reseorce processor and any kind of automatic miner, there should be a mod that is able to convert energy (be it RF, gregtechEU, EU, FE) into tension so you can also put a onboard reactor from nuclearcraft to power the exploration rig.
@@CM-NightDK Thanks for the ideas, I dont think I will use nucleartech but some small factories with create would def help in the long term alongside with bigger fuel.
