Okay so first off they say not to get piercings in summer because of swimming. Not because of the sun. The sun is actually closer in winter and 2 yes a longer bar will work for pregnacy but it's best to get a "rubber" one.

You have a higher chance of your body infecting and rejecting the piercing due to the loss of elasticity in the skin there. Sorry.. Just had to say that. Not that you can't... Just your risks are higher :)
I've had mine done before, took it out a couple days after. I'm reconsidering of getting it done again professionally... I'm just worried about the scar from the previous one.
hey!! i’ve had mine pierced 2x. they did it BEHIND the scar tissue so it actually hurt less & is deeper than my original one. i love it & it’s healing much easier than the first one. i had both done professionally. you just have to wait about 6 months for the scar to heal (mine rejected) before you get it redone. i would definitely recommend it if it’s something you want, it’s my favorite piercing (:
