- The Isle of Man, the first TT race of the season... 37.75 miles around, 219 corners. Break concentration for a moment and it can end in tears. 6 Laps the distance against the clock, but other cars on track to worry about and navigate around. Whoever makes it to the finish with the lowest total time wins, but making it to the finish in itself may secure points.
Coming into this round 2nd, just behind Jernej in points, but it looks like he may use this as a drop race, so need to capitalize to have a fair chance at battling for the title come the end!

Thanks again for putting this series together! It was a great experience and very rewarding (until my disconnect in lap 1, which was not rF2's fault but my internet connection dying during a hailstorm). I would have never learned the track without the HRRC.

It’s okay to be Christian and to support Christianity.
But when you blurt stuff like that out randomly and annoy people with it, people who are on the fence will look down on churches and will avoid them instead of getting curious and joining a church.
If you want to advertise for that you have to do it a lot differently.
I don’t say you’re not telling the truth, but if you want to spread the gospel and want acceptance, you have to learn where and when.

Hey, great to put a face to a voice. And for proving that you're not just a fan of historic racing, you actually race in these neat classic road course championships, in very tricky classic cars. Don't know how you managed to go 2 hours without a break but then again Dakar competitors usually go all day.
Nice to have the pedals inset in the picture, it was good to watch your foot work.
Really enjoy your channel. Much appreciate the great work you do in bringing us historic content with all the commentaries of the era depicting details that makes us feel as though we are there.

@@GOROCKIES Jesus didn't write a gospel. the 4 gospels were written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Perhaps you're referring to Jesus Puras, Spanish rally driver active in the World Rally Championship from 1991 to 2002. Who was well known for his blistering performances on tarmac rallies.

The loading screen for the Isle of Man track mod for GTR2 (converted by Superkolos from GPL and GTR) has an old poster graphic that says "Isle of Man Mountain Course - Race of Champions 2nd June 1967 Inaugural Joint ACU/FIA Meeting" and has Formula cars and bikes on the road together. Was that a real event? I can't find any info about it. You can see the loading screen at the beginning of my video called GTR2 P&G: Cobra at Isle of Man. Also I think the track done in that mod is a lot shorter than this.

Wow! I did simracing with GPL, GTL then iRacing from 2008 to AC. Also RBR but got bored around 2017. This makes me thinking start simracing again😊 my simcube is dead though...

Why do the Ferrari’s, which are supposedly powered by 5.0L V12 engines, sound like American V8’s? I understand the mod was made by modifying the stock cobra configuration visually and physics wise, but it seems strange.

2:22:10 Lol Richard Woodcock. There was an upper management boss named Dick Woodcock where I worked. He seemed pretty cool and I guess he didn't care about his name and I'm sure no one would bring it up to him. Why would parents name a kid that though?

I've heard of a "Willie Dick", and also a "Richard Brain".
So weird to see the championship leader, Jernej Simoncic, decide to skip this race - but only the drivers' best 4 results count towards the drivers' championship, and Jernej is so confident that he didn't feel the need to bank a finish in the Isle of Man just in case of bad luck later in the season.
He was racing in another league yesterday, he'll be back
