- Joining the SROL folks once again for the Saturday portion of their yearly virtual Goodwood! This time back with the touring cars and seeking redemption in my poor showing with the Minis last year. Duel 20-lap features is the format, and car selection is based on random draw! With some 25+ drivers on the grid, it will be as important as ever!
So will I be forced to overcome my front-wheeled drive phobia? Will I be handed an American V8? Will I flatten Oscar Hardwick again? Tune in to find out!

For such a simple layout, Goodwood always provides loads of fun, especially in multi-car formats. I love how the Imp and Fairlane are two ends of a bell curve but end up together. Glorious stuff.

39:25 I had Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge for the Amiga. Bill Elliott was really hard to pass in that game. The couple of times I passed him and took the checkered flag the game crashed. I jokingly said it's because Bill Elliott refused to lose in his own game but I'm sure it was because of a glitch in loading the win screen. Back then there was no downloading a patch off the internet, there was no internet.

The Ronald Finger name drop was surprising, loved the Fiero restoration series, as well as the ongoing 240z project.
Great racing - Jake made a few too many mistakes in the 2nd race! The Goodwood Revival meeting finished a few days ago, so there's plenty of real-life wheel-to-wheel races on TH-cam just like this with historic cars.
I marshalled the first five Revivals and they all were some of the best race meeting I ever went to. Always stopped for the presentations and met some of the drivers, including Jack Brabham, Moss, Bell and Surtees. So many great memories, Gerry Marshall's epic battles in The St Mary's Trophy from 17th to win, in the wet. Pilot Ray Hanna flying a Spitfire down the start/ Finish straight at 30 feet! Watching Barry Sheenes last ever race and meeting Carroll Shelby.
Catching up on this now. Sorry I missed it live. I had three 10-lap races there in the rf2 '54 mod a few weeks back. In the rain! Great fun.
The 2000gt engine was designed by Yamaha, there's a few Toyota engine that were designed by Yamaha. The other one I know about is the 3SGTE BEAMS. One hell of an engine to swap into an AE86.

The HUD above the instrument cluster is called Sidekick, not sure about the leaderboard HUD in the top right tho!
