This mountain is one of my favorites of all time. Did this one 19 years ago in 2005. Even saw a drunk guy wearing a kilt buckled over a rock puking. He got to chicken out ridge and was like waaa? There's gotta be another way?! The entire summit block was totally obscured by clouds when we were down in the rusty rock bands. Looked like storms coming off to the west. Then the good Lord must've intervened and it all opened up. Epic.
Nice job guys. I did this climb back in 2017 after a trail race in Challis(River of No Return) I ran as much as was possible and power hiked the sections that were unrunnable (Chicken Out Ridge was no joke). I did it in 4.5 hrs out and back from the camp ground. It was a week day so I was the only one on the mt. I was 67 yrs old at the time.
Thank you and thanks for watching! Chicken out ridge definitely brings the spice factor! Way to crush it with that time! We definitely would go that route and have a much shorter day if we come back to climb it again!
Someone will tell you a route is class 3. When you question them about that later they will say, "Well most of it is class 3. Sure, a few 5.7 moves but MOST of it is class 3".

That sounds like quite the experience on this peak!
@@AnOccasionalAdventurer it was great! Highly recommend. I've been up about 20 peaks. This one is still my number 1 peak.
