- The 296 GTB, an evolution of Ferrari’s mid-rear-engined two-seater sports berlinetta concept, represents a revolution for the Maranello-based company as it introduces the new 120° V6 engine coupled with a plug-in (PHEV) electric motor capable of delivering up to 830 cv. The car thus redefines the idea of driving fun to provide pure excitement not only when pursuing maximum performance but also in everyday driving.

Totally agree with Ferrari that loud sound from the exhaust, that beautiful engine just makes the car to screams for it to be driven like a sports car or an untamed horse and should not be used as a luxurious or as a show off car . This car is definitely a masterpiece and definitely sounds and acts like how a ferrari should be .

@@sailorjupiter1963 The new Acura NSX is designed AND built in Ohio, USA! So it's essentially an American car. To add insult to their injury, it now sounds like an American V6 Mussel car rather than it's more exotic sounding predecessor.

So when do the batteries charge, just at night, and during regen braking? Or is there any more points in time that the batteries take a charge?
Also, since we're talking about electricity, why not use super capacitors that can harness more of the potential regen energy, far quicker than batteries can? And release this power far quicker than batteries can, even for powering back out of the same curve that you just braked for! (Track in, harness, Track out, release)
Maybe a tuned mixture of batteries + super capacitors?
I don't doubt that it drives incradible, but I miss the sound of old screaming V8 and V12 that Ferrari used to make.
This V6 makes almost the same sound as Ferrari V12 though, screaming and all.

Ferrari seems to have got that top end noise just right. Doesn't quite sound as turbocharged.
This V6 revs higher than the V8, partly because it's more compact. Sounds much better than their V8TT to my eyes.

Damn Ferrari you are killing the competition right now,that's the second car that has a V6 in it,while until now the only one that had a V6 was the Ferrari Dino,if you don't count the aspiration,the only difference is that that engine is turbocharged,unlike the Natural Aspirated Dino engine.
