Wasn't a fan of the 296 at the beginning, but damn, it really sounds good with this exhaust. Almost sounds like the V12 engines from Ferrari.
Yeah, it really does sound like a V12 at high rpms! I'm going to upload more videos of the Tubi 296 in the next weeks, so stay tuned for that!
It sounds worse than before, it now has that familiar unfortunate "leaking exhaust" noise that all modern turbo'd cars get. It's not a high revving car either.

@@Adam-ub9nu 488/F8 with exhaust upgrades are noisier, but they don't sound any better than stock to me. In my opinion, this 296 has a much nicer tone to it.
@@Adam-ub9nuthe Ferrari turbo v8s are generally considered to be one of the worser sounding modern Ferrari engines. The 296 GTB 2.9 is called a “mini-v12” for a reason. Much better

I can't even describe what it sounds like lol.... it's like, a superbike and a Tipo had a baby and put a set of turbos on it for some added flair 😅

It's Hybrid so to get engine starting you need to change the mode as well, it starts in electric only if that not done

The engine bay looks much better like this (meaning , without at least some of those engine covers they put at the factory) and i bet temps are a little lower.
But I expected a single exhaust line , given that the turbo exits are so close one to each other.
Are mufflers still on on is it truly straight piped ?
Edit : what are those silver boxes on top of the cold side of the turbochargers ?

Not a bad sound, at all, but it's still no flat plane V8 or V12. Hard to beat an old school F 355 F1 with full exhaust or a 458 Speciale with the same.
the engine they built for maserati (ghibli) sounds better
i am not a fan of center lined exhausts.. behind my eyes, I see the 296 with quad-exhausts... 2 on both sides... with a slightly redesigned rear bumper to fit them.. i wish you could see my vision, i truely do. .. .but hey, make no mistake, this is a gorgeous car as it is...also,,.my opinion does not matter :)

Is 8,500 rpm not high enough?
The leaking exhaust is turbo spool and it revs to 8500 for a v6 it sounds great only v6 that sounds better imo is the alfa romeo giulia quadrifoglio
