Another fact about this stop is that they are owned by same people that own Iowa 80, the largest truckstop. Same jeep inside and truck decor. They dont sell alcohol or lottery tickets because they want family atmosphere. Still not second largest though. There's one on I-81 that is larger inside and parking.
Yeah they do hate us. I'm a 10 year trucker and for the first time in my career i missed an appointment time because dispatch forgot I've been running without a reset. So to punish me they told me I'd be stranded in Dallas for 3 days until i can deliver that late load. Had 10 hours on my clock but ran out of time because it was a 10 plus trip from St. Louis So i get to sit here because they lost money. The dispatchers don't get punished. I do. It was their mistake, but I'll enjoy Dallas while I'm stuck here now.
Not saying the fault wasn't on dispatch initially, but easy for people at office to throw you under bus as last person who could have prevented late delivery.. You should have rejected load because you couldn't possibly meet receivers schedule. If dispatch still insisted you take load because no one else was available, then burden was on you to have dispatch acknowledge in writing that load would be late before you picked up load. Gotta CYA. Always.
Why would you work for a company that treats you like shit...and not care about your life or sanity They will lie to you and keep you like a hostage in that truck..and take advantage of you..as long as you let them get away with it..

Posted on the 3rd but was filmed before. You walked right past my truck and my curtain was open, so had to be the 2nd or before.

I feel like you’re basically regional. You pretty much operate in the same 4-5 states.
