my understanding is that you should get a FREE DAC report every so often as it falls under fair credit reporting act, but on that same token the past three times ive pulled it ive had to pay so i really dont know. This go round though they sent me just the letter head and said "we have no information on you" despite me pulling three in the past with all the information, and i didnt have to pay. i really dont know, its werid, i wish i had a better answer other than just my personal experience and i hear you say you'd never go back OTR ever think about regional? Crete is a company im looking into and in jersey they got 12 days out 2 days home, or 21 days out and 3.5 days home in their refrigerated division. i got friends who work there that say they work really hard to make sure you ARE home on time. it can of course be missed because trucking is trucking (see your example of a shipper rejecting a load) but otherwise they claim to have never missed hometime.
If you wanna see your report apply at any company that uses 10th St. as the hiring process and just pretend you want a job there and they will send you a copy of everything

If the new job doesn't work out for you, Try metropolitan express over there by Bloomsburg Pennsylvania (MET) A very good company that will keep you around Pennsylvania New Jersey New York... They've been around a long time and there's they were such a good company there was a waiting list to get in. This was back in the 80s and 90s. I would try that if you want to be home just about every day or every other day.
I'm sure Western gave you a bit of PTSD. If you need to go OTR to save some cash before your next move, try Knight. No forced dispatch, good home time, and excellent equipment with refrigerator and inverter. Knight is easy. Don't wait any longer on your local job, they are flakes and not reliable. They either hired someone else or don't have the work but won't say. Move on. All the best!
Just put application out...don't wait for one company...ball is in your court...been in it a while GGG...im at my 4th job since this past January..lol..crap happens not my choice...but empty promises don't pay lol
I don't know about you life, from my point of view would get an otr position with another company in your local area . Western Express is a good place to start. Stay safe.

@@bretmoleta1860I can answer that. The person that leaves a job without another lined up was given an inheritance. See it all the time. That's the same person with no savings skill that gies out and buys a truck with inheritance money, and puts out you tube videos of him show ing it off.
