Zambia is beautiful, Zambia helped us through our struggles as a Namibian nation. I had been to Zambia many times and contemplated to move but unfortunately it had not worked out. I've enjoyed this content 👌💞💞
I honestly enjoyed and learned alot of things today in this video, I will be in Zambia next week Tuesday.... Am coming to build my dream home in Lusaka... I bought land in chalala
Natasha is wise beyond her age, I like her analogy of Zambian youths & Zambians at large in regards of investment, starting a business & managing a business. Farming is very lucrative but most of us don’t want to get in to it because we want to make fast money rather than building a solid business from ground up…
What a joy I found this interview. I live in Calgary and did not know what my people were going through in Edmonton. I am original from the Caribbean, I am so sad for newcomers. To survive in the North we go through a lot of hardship we are never accepted. I am happy for channels like yours am sure the younger generations returning to the motherland. I am now adding Zambia to my travel list.
I am so glad that she told the truth about Zambia. Natasha is smart, practical and wise. I hope many Zambian people will hear her message and take heed.

I was supposed to go study in Estonia last year but plans changed & I am doing my studies within Lusaka. And yes about people taking care of each other, I totally agree. Even though I live in Lusaka I have traveled to other parts of Zambia like the Copperbelt, Central Province, Southern Province, Western Province and I have always had shelter & food either from my extended family or family friends and that makes me so grateful. Even when I had to work in different rural places for a couple of weeks, the villagers in all the places we went to for the first time were so kind & they would give us food like pumpkins, Maize, full live Chickens, Vegetables or even invite us for a meal & insist that we joined them. I honestly was so humbled by their kind & caring gesture. I hope you guys enjoy your stay in Zambia.
Thanks so much for saying the truth about the previous government. Yes,the previous government worked on infrastructure and Zambia now looks cleaner than before. I hv enjoyed the vlog. Thanks guys!!

I always wonder why people who leave Zambia to go and work in America or UK for too many years. I mean,it not wise at all. The wise thing to do is to go make money and come back and invest. It's pointless to live an unhappy life with lots of money. Anyway that's just my opinion. Zambian and Africans at large has very nice people, we embrace all races and we believe in a happy life. Welcome back home Natasha.
We come and go and we see cheaper like tourists economically it's expensive if you stay in Zambia with a job and no resources so when we return we're very comfortable like Westerners so why not you have not seen real poverty around you wouldn't blame us . @@cholamwapw6498 the idea is go and make lots of money and invest back home then when comfortable, come back and stay. I know Africa is frustrating especially when you have no resources. I know a few of my friends who have come back and they are doing very fine. These days they just go to Europe and USA for holidays. They have property around lusaka which gives them a lot of money. Right now I am helping him start chili farming. He is very real and he has not even changed the accent. He is doing extremely well. There’s no spending without earning. I think people look at spending as if that’s an indication of wealth….but that’s not…it’s also an indication of debt. Not everyone is an entrepreneur to start a business and run it employing people there. Good to see you guys again. Your channel is quite addictive. Thanks for the information. With land issues or processing of documents, I think you are safer engaging a law firm to process your documents.
The white sweet potatoes are actually sweeter. They only sold these in certain parts of US, like Las Vegas. When I tell you these old school cooks (two ladies) made this sweet potato pie, it was fire, even though I asked why is this pie white? I was schooled. Go ahead Micki, test it out & make magic happen. You can do it with those white sweet potatoes…trust me. Make candid yams & a sweet potato pie. Do video so we can see. Enjoy your day!
The orange ones are modified lol but they're good for the added vitamins but original are white and when boiled they turn yellow inside...they so delicious.
Unapologetic nomads: you (plural) radiate an amazing aura which , if the majority of people in our world were like this, would most certainly make this a better world! Contrary to you nomads, I have to apologise for my belated 'Welcome to Zambia!' I kinda (sic) stumbled on one of your videos (the matebeto excursion because, well, that place happens to be my favourite eating joint!) and then commenced to binge-watched your videos to my heart's content! Bravo for your joie de vivre, conviviality, affability and just plain Lets-have-a-blast-with-whatever-whenever attitude! Continue to enjoy your stay in Zambia and to share your experiences with us.
Hey guys, for the orange sweet potatoes, try an area called Mandevu near the Heroes Stadium (Independence Stadium). You may likely find some there cos there are different suppliers who go to sell sweet potatoes there from different places outside Lusaka. A few farmers grow them. If I find more info I will post here. Natasha, with your chicken business, consider getting some training at Livestock in Showgrounds on how to keep chickens (poultry farming) and they will also teach you how to make your own feed which works out cheaper. It was only K50 in 2020 and if they have increased it should be K100 or K150 and that's just basically a day, say from 9hrs to about 15 hrs you are done. There are some other farming courses livestock offers and some of them are done from the University of Zambia or at the Livestock offices. Consider also keeping village chickens like black astraulop breed and sasol breed. They will advise you at livestock.
@D&B , please stop it. There are bad people everywhere, all of us don't act the same. I get the concern but the ones you're talking about more than likely would never come.
What your guest talk about it happens in the United States. Selling their houses and land to these investors that offer low money for your home and land. These investors pray on people who have lack of knowledge about business. You guys are talking truth. Yes we have to be taught about business and keeping land. Buying land. Learn about finance and unity. Do for self. Having your own business. Being around like minded people. Peace and blessings.
Shopping malls aren't indicative of any progressive govt policy beyond issuing a license for an investor to setup shop. Zambia losses billions of dollars every year with a tax policy that basically allowed the copper mine owners to pay a tax according to their desires. This led to situations were the difference paid in taxes paid by two similar mines varied by as much as 1.5 billion dollars. Zambia, like most African countries; is rich, mineral resources wise, underground but poor above ground. We as Black people, need to say enough is enough, we can no longer stand idle, and be sworn to a life of semi slavery because our so called leaders, like the tobacco, whisky, slve chiefs, of the passed, are stealing our resources. The most hideous form of racism we face today, as Black people, is poverty, poverty brought on by structural racism in the west, drug dealing & corruption by Black leaders in Africa and the Caribbean. When an African country like Congo DRC, worth 75 trillion dollars underground, is maimed and looted, by the rest of the world, millions of lives are lost, and we do nothing, we are complicit. If every country in this region, simply dug up and sold their mineral resources for the right price, poverty, in the region, and by extention, in Africa, would be nonexistent, Africa would be ten fold Dubai, in terms of infrastructure. Its important that we understand the linkage between the worldwide subjugation of the Black man, and the corruption in Africa; other races are pillaging Africa to improve on the well-being of their own races at the expense of the Black race.
Too many traitors/enablers in our kind :( chasing the good life at the expense of your own kind. Selfish/corrupt leaders are destroying this continent. Home schooling my kids, moving back to the village. Things will change... God willing!
Oh dear here we go again. Would you rather we had market stalls and street vendors instead of shopping malls? Do you realise that shopping malls are a part of infrastructure?
@@musondabodymindhealth4204 If market stalls and street vendors is what it will take for a poor mother to feed her children, then I would gladly take that over a glossy mall that can only cater for the corrupt, with their ill gotten gains. It's more unsightly for me, to see individuals, with $200,000 range rovers, with no underlying legal business; waltzing in and out of plush malls whilst the average person can not afford to fill up a shopping basket with groceries. And as for infrastructure, it has been repeatedly stated on this channel, the gripe with America, for the Black man, is that whilst America is brimming with shinny skyscrapers, the average Black person, like in South Africa, and Brazil, is locked in economically deprived ghettos as a result of legacies of racial oppression & discrimination against Black people. It's just not simply about infrastructure; what good will a skyscraper do for you, when you are starving. And if it's plush malls alone, in the midst's of poverty, even when you do go to the toilets, in these malls, you will be reminded of the poverty of the average person, in contrast to the glitzy, shop front windows. In short, you only become rich, when we all become rich, anything less, is just a mirage.
This is the history of AmaNdebele located in Zim. It has nothing to do with colonial boarders. They originated early in the 19th century as an offshoot of the Nguni of Natal. Mzilikazi, an Nguni military commander under Shaka, king of the Zulu, came into conflict with Shaka and in 1823 was forced to flee, migrating with his followers first to Basutoland (now Lesotho) and then north to the Marico Valley.
In the past most people just wanted to get into employment and retire, not anymore. The are many that want to start their own business but got no access to capital. We got no venture capitalists in most African countries, only banks and other financial institutions but they’ll not give you money if you got no collateral and if you got assets to use as collateral the interest rates are exorbitant you end up defaulting most of the time. For people coming from outside of Africa it’s so easy to set up business because when you convert the currency to kwacha it goes a long way. The solution is governments coming with policies and regulations to make access to capital affordable and easy.
We have to change our outlook of what success means, OWNER not WORKER. The system is such that foreigners see the opportunities and are wealthy because of our mindset. We can change this with the right leadership. The raw resources on the continent are being controlled by others and the indigenous people are impoverished, living in shanty towns without having water in some countries, its heartbreaking....but its not to late. The youth are blinded by western culture, but if we collectively network our business knowledge, resources, culture and finances, we could make a big impact.
I think the biggest deterrent for Zambians starting businesses is the bad governing policies and taxes. Foreigners have so many tax rebates and their taxes are so much lower compared to actual Zambian citizens whose taxes are higher.
Hey guys, I saw you asking where you can get the orange sweet potato. I think I saw some in shoprite by the waterfalls mall. They had that purple skin just not sure if they are orange on the inside. But worth checking out.

As a Zambian you thank you for this video
Interesting interview thank goodness she is back in the Motherland. Wow, how little we knew about the terrible racial issues in Canada, a country portrait to be liberal. She experience such severe medical treatment there in the hospital in Canada, that almost cause her child life. Hope she will continue to enjoy life for her and her family in Zambia. It's wonderful to have an option to avoid the west.
Thank for the information Natasha M sis. Unapologetic you guys are great.
I have been watching you guys from the day you came to Zambia and I'm loving your content. I'm a zambian and I also learning a lot from you guys that I don't about my country. Much love🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲
Yes, if you have something like a house or a car in Zambia. It's paid for in full and you own it.
Unapologetic nomads I love your energy and how down to earth you guys are so please keep up the good work.
Oh my God! Can't imagine I have watched this video till the end. You guys are doing a great job
I LOVE THIS SISTER
Blacks we must change...our minds...please let's help each other own your land.
Thank you Unapologetic Nomads & Natasha M! 😊
Very informative video. It's excellent. We don't want to be negative because we are positive people. Can you guys elaborate on the crime there where you are? The pros and the cons of where you reside. It's wise to know the good and bad. Our family enjoy your videos. We have our younger relatives watching your videos. Our younger relatives enjoy Ala. She is so smart. You guys are so genuine. Keep up the great work you do to keep all of us inform. Peace and blessings.
Crime rate in Zambia is really low
Check the world peace index ranking for Zambia.
Thank you so much for this video guys. It was great, and very helpful.

Talking about under development in Zambia girl I can definitely feel what you are saying,, my country is so under developed its embarrassing to say the least. But we are hopeful!!

Loving the content....you shedding lots of light..one love 👏👏👏
Hi Family. I am enjoying you all thank you. I enjoyed watching this program it’s so helpful. I am watching your videos trying to make a decision on where to locate if I was to move to Africa.
Good to see you guys again. Your channel is quite addictive. Thanks for the information. With land issues or processing of documents, I think you are safer engaging a law firm to process your documents.
I love you guys! Keep it up with the great work...
Hi family , very impressed from ZA
If there's Checkers there you can get the orange sweet potatoes. Its my favorite
No place like home, I need to come and build back home
Iv learned alot man I need to visit Zambia
Heey thank you for this advice! Will definitely try this 🙏🏾
@@NatashaM. You are most welcome Natasha.
Very inspiring, great content keep them coming. One Love
Bill's in Zambia are just limited to water, power and rent. Life s affordable
Fact...we need more black Americans than to come and reconnect in Zambia 🇿🇲 it has been long overdue
That’s besides the point, she’s talking of the face Zambia had compared to now, no need for those sentiments
💯 👏🏿 have u checked out the baio ?
Love and peace family.
Am a Zambian , enjoying you guys
Enjoy my country zambia 🇿🇲
Nice truthfully educative conversation, still stuck in Edmonton unfortunately.
y'all need to learn about the new pressi HH.Zambia is the next best thing in Africa
Lebron T mudarikea
You are right !
I think the reason why we sell lands or houses after our parents died is because it brings lots of conflicts or problems between family's members
This is awesome you have a great vision
Hi guys!! Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
I think the biggest deterrent for Zambians starting businesses is the bad governing policies and taxes. Foreigners have so many tax rebates and their taxes are so much lower compared to actual Zambian citizens whose taxes are higher.
It is called pumpkin potato and yes it grows there
Hey guys, I saw you asking where you can get the orange sweet potato. I think I saw some in shoprite by the waterfalls mall. They had that purple skin just not sure if they are orange on the inside. But worth checking out.
Hi guys I enjoy the discussion and real missed the taste yummy foods. Well done guys and God bless you more and more.

We do have orange sweet potatoes. Check in the markets
Well done making the move! My sense is Toronto and Montreal are the placed to be in Canada when considering racism
Natasha is surely correct..
