I have a 05 P71 that’s been sitting and I was debating on scrapping it or saving it and doing something with it, and I kid you not, I have been researching throwing a cheap GT45 on it for a couple of months now, so it’s wild how I discover these vids and your channel suddenly. I’m watching what your doing and I seen a guy on the turbo forums do a similar setup, crossover tube under bellhousing ran forward on passenger side.. and I wanted to do that and leave stock manifolds in place,You should definitely make a duplicate hot side with the t4 flange, waste gate tube, BOV flange and 02 bungs, and cold side from Intercooler up to the throttle body and sell it. Just the piping, nothing else like the waste gate itself or BOV etc. Just the stuff that needs to be welded. I’d definitely be interested because like you said, some of us (me) don’t have access to welders, don’t know how to weld, or have access to a pipe bender.
Awesome man! Glad to have you along. Once I figure out EXACTLY what's needed, nothing more nothing less, and if there was enough interest, maybe I could make something happen
Awesome! Thanks so much for following along. Trying to make videos more often, trying to establish myself on TH-cam, don't really know what I'm doing tho lol. I just hit record and wing it.
I do understand that one. Last week I was 2 hours from loosing my car and right behind it my job. Luckily I was able to borrow the money to keep it. It's like oneof those final hour deals lol. Yea stuff is Def tight. Did you ever get the turbo in her?
@@TACOMASRT5 did the tubing and everything seem like it was going to fit under the car? I'm thinking about trying this out myself and continuing your theory, but if there is some reason it doesnt fit I'd like to know before I waste the time and money. Thanks!
Hello there. By the way Thanks for the video. I got 09 police interceptor. I'll been thinking to do something like that. I'll been doing my own research. But nobody said what exactly do you need. Till I saw your video. Also how much would to buy all the the things you in the list? I know you probably are in a different state. I'm in California. Can you give a estimate how much was? Please. Thank you
It was about $2000 Probably would have been better off with a complete GT45 "kit" from eBay. That way all you would need is a fuel pump and injectors. Someone on here posted that the OEM parts are good for 12 psi IDK if I believe it though. One step at a time. #1 always get a good quality wideband afr gauge. Install it with your stock setup to see what your numbers are. Turbo your car. Go with lowest boost possible see how your car responds on the wide band. Gradually increase boost to see what you can and can't get away with. If you lean out, address your fuel problem (crown vics have a problem with fuel pumps anyway) get a fuel pump, see what happens. If you need more get injectors, see what happens
Wow this is exactly the video i needed to see now that I've gotten a vic.

Thank you for this! Was this a complete kit you picked up, or did you have to source everything individually?
I sourced everything individually.
The parts list is in the description it will be updated as I go along.

@@TACOMASRT5do you have a kit you would recommend if so could you link it please and thanks
any progress, might need some help with mine
I would love to say yes. But everything has hit the fan on the Tacoma SRT 5 home front and due to financial reasons I'm going to have to sell the car.
After you make yours lmk what it's going to cost to get you to make mine
Where are you located?
Florida
@@doaburnout1205 oh damn
Why you interested in making mine lol? My crown vic is an 01 with alot of work getting done to it atm
What kind of work?
Why not 3 inch
Why not 3" what?
@ pipe
The hole in the back of the manifold is not that big and I didn't want a 2" exhaust either lol
