    I also have a 390FE so was interesting for me to see how the car behaved at the Nurburgring. Thank you for sharing and well driven!

      Thank you. There is still a lot of potential. The round was driven very smooth. I didn't even turn the gears all the way out. As stock, the Exige drives properly. With two, three small changes, tires and axle geometry there is a lot of potential (times technically)
      I will upload a new video in future with small changes and a bit quicker driving style.

      @@DCM881 looking forward to see the progression. Yes, I agree the beauty with the 390 is the base is pretty solid and has ample of opportunities for simple upgrades to get more performance from it. Like you said, tyres and geo will make a big difference. Im running 225 fronts but kept with 275 rears on nangkang AR1, also have quaife lsd, and recently changed to coilovers and headers mid pipes to be installed. Just the tyres, geo and LSD, I have already been running quicker laps times than the 410, 420 & 430 exiges I know of in my home track and just able to stay with a relatively well driven 991 gt3. But most importantly, they are a heap of fun to drive, more so than my 991 gt3.

    Nice video, car looks very row but a litle instable. Waht car you sell first, gt3 our exige.
    I have 996 turbo, and like to change to exige v6. But i am afraid ro re regreat

      Difficult decision😄 exige is more raw. little equipment. loud as hell. nothing for every day.😁

      @@DCM881 That's exactly what I'm looking for, the maximum experience when I turn it on.
      The gt3 991 I'm afraid of millionaire failures. I prefer a car that is more economical to maintain!!
      even because I only do 2k klm per year on the 996 turbo
      On the 1st of july i'm going to the ring from portugal to see these lotus in action maybe see you there

      Don't do it. Not worth the money in my opinion. If possible get this Lotus chassis in a lighter Version (Elise, Exige Mk1/MK2) in addition to your 996 or a Caterham if you want to hoon around

      Klappt nur mit dem richtigen Schuhwerk, da die Pedale relativ eng anliegen. Die Runde war wirklich nur locker gefahren mit Straßenschuhen 😄

      @@DCM881 schwanke gerade zwischen einem 981 GT4 und einer Exige.. Fahr leider mit Beinprothese, da wird’s dann wohl zwangsläufig der GT4. Wusste zwar, dass es kuschelig ist im Fußraum, aber wenn’s nicht mal für Zwischengas reicht, kann ich’s direkt vergessen 😂
