Thanks for this Luan. I will do this myself one day but I'm terrified of taking the drill and dremel to the car! I've heard conflicting reports on if it's possible to easily run both the hard and soft top. Something to do with the rubber grommet's being in the way of the central fixing for the hardtop? Any issues like this? It's not a big deal if it is the case, but would be annoying. In fact, you glued those in, so I assume you can still fit your hard top right? Driving impressions with the roof off and exhaust open soon please! :)
You can absolutely run both, I'm planning to swap over to the hard top again this winter and have a pulley system to put into the garage to store the hardtop and make it easier to install and remove the hardtop without help. Yeah the only mod you need to do is to install the brackets, they don't interfere with the hardtop as far as I'm aware
@nickslotus9490 I guess I'll have to make another video then 🤣 I can't take all the credit though, someone in the forums did it and I'm just copying them
@@LueysGarage I recently bought a brand spanking semi new exige 390 sport FE and want to do the same. can you share where you found the info on the forums? cheers!
@@kokinoritake3459 ops I actually thought I put it in the description for the video, here it is www.lotustalk.com/threads/how-to-install-a-soft-top-on-the-exige.27090/
You think that the holes for the soft top would have been put in by the factory ,would hate to have to drill holes in such a lovely car,you could easily muff it up 😮

Hi Luey. Can I ask where you got your soft top from?
Bell & Colvill
Can I ask how much it was shipped?
@@DoobzB just under 1300 GBP to NZ
@@nickslotus9490 so just under 3k including install?
whats your trick on the dashboard ? cobra ? please share the ref. thank you
Its just the Whistler Pro model, nothing fancy. Mostly for the fixed speed cameras there's more and more being installed now.
I’m wondering if I can do this with my GR Supra, with a hard top tho. Any suggestions?
You can't just unbolt the roof for the Supra though right?
Looks like a rat has nibbled the hole out, terrible shape to it
Could have done it better yep, but it did the trick and the cover fits well
