It's impeccably written, of course, but it just falls so flat for me. Half of it isn't personal, and the half that is doesn't really land on Shuffle's character.
Writing is good but delivery and rapping was so poor. At some point those schemes just fall very flat when you overdo the multis. As great as the writing is, Shuffle neutralized it 6 bars into the next round with a standup comedy act.

Shuffle even had a scheme in this battle about it.. about how soul may have bought all the tickets so that the crowd couldn't show up etc .
Absolutely loved this battle, personally I had Shuffle edging it. Soul is an exceptional writer but lost here on performance. I feel like he says everything so quickly, doesnt let some of the impeccable word play sink in...still madly impressive. Shuffle came with some innovative comedy and ended his 3rd with some sick bars too! Everyone was a winner here, big up this battle massively :D

My two favourite battlers by a country mile, but I got Soul taking the 30 here.

I was really concerned that the covid restrictions etc would take away alot of the ambiance.. but tbf.. this battle exceeded my expectations. Both smashed it. Shuffle T, Soul, Battle rap, the fans, and premier battles are all winners here. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
