honestly one of the best battles i've seen in a long time. Shox is something else, if only the uk battle battle scene wasnt on a decline then this wouldve got the recognition it deserved
If judges are going to decide based on "punches" then the winner is always going to be the same Bigg K, Ave, Shox, quick punch style. Whereas the intricate, longer schemes and personal wordplay of a rappers like soul is just as fire... Soul the winner for me 2-1, there's no one like him anywhere, and he was at his best here.

I honestly can't understand how anyone has Shox winning. He did amazing, easily the best Soul has faced since becoming champ. Soul is just on a different level for me I guess, he breaks down people so well and uses their strengths against them. In his 3rd when he called out Shox being able to beat him up was best moment of the battle for me.
Agreed. Close battle but I had Soul with a strong edge when I watched the bootleg without the decision. Was stunned by Shox winning, but throw in parts of the crowd dick riding and company politics and it's not really about who's better as much as who can push the brand forward with new hype. Same with KOTD, shit's as 'rigged' as WWE.

I'm not 100% sure, but just from context this is my guess. Soul says something along the lines of "when you beef and then you speak like you spark men out, and then you ended up on stage doing bars and pouting..." Then when he says "i'm not the type of chap who, you will see in interviews saying they stripped me of my manhood." So when he said you would have to beat me up, to me it meant that Soul at least has the balls to follow up and get his ass kicked instead of taking shit from someone.

Doesn't even matter who won, this is a masterful display of almost every attribute of battle rap. Best battle on Don't Flop that I know of, I think it will go down as one of the greatest battles overall. That being said, I think Soul got the 1st, Shox got the 2nd, and the 3rd comes down to preference.

I'm American and I've been watching battle rap for 5 years. I've never heard better rounds then what Shox had. His punches were fucking unmatched with minuscule set ups. His 3rd round was on like QP, JC, and Chilla level. Incredible. I'm glad Soul didn't roll over but Shox was bugging I've never seen someone pop off so intellectually.

Never seen someone with such constant improvement and progression in the UKBR scene and it defo doesn't look like Shox is anywhere near finished. The battle I've been waiting so long for. We see these changing of the guard battles in all leagues and this one was always gonna be a 2-1 for me. Soul handed on the title with such integrity. Used the second to have fun and the third to pass the torch. Shox is a fucking machine and totally deserving of being the next DF Champ. Looking forward to the next "once only a year happening title match"

i feel it was a difference in energy. Shox was straight in, fire power from start to finish. It was almost to hard to keep up. Soul has more structure, a slower build to a clinical finish. Different styles, but i think the crowd fucked with Shox more and his punch count was higher for sure. agree with the judges.

Absolute madness, best title shot fuck one of the best battles but I think the crowd reaction carried shox. If it went to video judging Soul would have won coz his third was hard as fuck once u clock the concept, the "chance in hell".... fire. Also after Gemin1 baited Shox out for all the bars he stole it really takes away from his performance, even watching it the first time I clocked 2 or 3 like the 'shard in the eye' from Ogmios but then knowing he bit the "animal in your boat" and like 20 others it really takes away from how hard he's punching.
