I had a chance to watch Zoe do her thing yesterday at the Cricket and Botgrinder picnic. I watched LOS and honestly had no desire to look through the goggles, as I was pretty mesmerized by how her quad was moving. It’s really something to see this in person, she said she kept the quad close to us on purpose so we could see how it moved. I’m sure she could probably see our faces in awe( she had DJI on her head) I certainly was. I was so impressed I forgot to tell her thanks? Thanks Zoe!
Just the maneuverability of this is amazing, like you can get right up close to something and punch away in the opposite direction Immediately, thats pretty cool. I can imagine a bunch of cool shots you could get like that

Zoe is such an underrated legend. Vanover was pretty impressive though for his first time 3d-ing. It was kind of weird seeing him be somewhat timid and respectful towards and opponent lol

Zoe for sure!! Vanny was amazing too. Many 3D heli pilots believe that 3D fpv is similar to 3D heli flying, but Zoe explained exactly why it is not. 3D heli keyworks help though....

Suggestion. A full race with every gate a knife edge. And you have to alternate left side up. Right side up. Left side up. For each gate.

Sounds like a technical challenge to me.
I used to do this in battlefield 1942. It takes a while to learn to flip the inputs. The trick is to imagine you're hugging the ceiling

That. Is. Awesome. Interesting to see that the camera uptilt is actually not zero on Zoe's kwads, and that becomes really apparent whenever anyone's trying to hit a gate inverted.
LOL at the initial biff on the race when the midpoint throttle change reared it's head.
Vanny losing to Zoe was one thing. Stepping to Nurk was quite another... Instant regret😂.. great vid, one and all. 🤘🖖

A helpful trick is to imagine that you are flying on the underside of a borg cube, with the structure streaking long above your cockpit. Then your not "flying upside down" you are just flying normally with the Earth hanging above you.

@Zoe FPV is still the raining champ and one of my all time favorite FPV pilots.
This was awesome, my favorite thing is how you all push each other to do more things. It is just epic how you push each other to get better and do more and help one another learn the new stuff.

Try Second-Person Racing. Pilots fly in teams of 2, each pilot has the camera feed of their partner's quad, and they have to both cross the finish line to win.
Unbelievable skill by Zoe, Vanover a distant 2nd :-) Great to see 3d flying through normal gates, just shows how great Zoe is.......

Next up: inverted x-class acro. Would probably have to run 8 motors, with half upside-down, to get sufficient thrust because of a lack of 3D props that big.

That was pretty cool. Being inverted like shows how much time she has invested in 3D FPV. Very dope. Vanover's competitiveness doesn't have an off switch. Even in a fun setting like this, losing probably still gets under his skin a little.

I would like to see you fly a disc golf course. Traditional golf courses are wide open but disc golf courses have tight runs through the woods.
