How much material needs to be removed from the long side and short sides of the OEM rear caliper bracket to clear the rotors?

None 😊 Our kit provides a new cast OEM style bracket to use with the oem caliper for the parking brake. We even offer new oem brake pads to fit the new 2pc 330mmx22mm rotor.

If you really want to know. Acura Charges $4500 each Rotor for Carbon Ceramic rotor with aluminum hub for the NC1 NSX
We made all 4 rotors for $6500!!! Still stupid expensive, but hell of a lot cheaper than what brake retailers charge for ONE rotor. 🤦‍♂️

Yes. The rears are massive and overkill, even on track you'll never be able to use that much pad/rotor. Adds more unsprung mass. There are definitely better options out there for rear brakes that are appropriately sized.

Not really a misconception or not, you change total piston diameter you change bias, pressure, pedal feel. You're adding much more rear bias. You can argue it's good or a better balance, but you are

We can make a one off set, but its not cheap. Did you see what we said about Acura NSX NC1 Carbon rotor cost? $4500 each rotor. We got away with $6500 for a complete set of 4 rotors. Crazy expensive still.

Away from the track, why would you want carbon? They will be cold most times when you need them and won't work as intended.
