I love going into Pret a Manger whenever I’m in NYC. I love their sandwiches that I believe are made fresh each day. Your tuna/cucumber sandwich sounds delicious. I think I usually get a sandwich with avocado included. I don’t consider them fast food because they have so may healthy options. And their prices aren’t inexpensive.
The packaging looks nice, but you clearly were not impressed with the food. 😅 The croissant looks alright, and I prefer the ones from Eataly. 🥐 I never knew Pret a Manger is also a chain in the US, and the only location I've found online for Los Angeles is inside LAX. 🤪 Thank you for your honest review, AK! 🤗🥖
I tried it before probably about 20 years ago in London for the first time I was quite impressed with the sandwich I had that time. I think they had one that I visited in Atlanta too back in the day.
I wouldn’t say it’s the most popular in London, it’s just that they have a huge presence, especially in central so people tend to go there just out of convenience. The food itself is very average. If you go to the Pret a Manger locations in other European cities like Paris and Geneva you will see they are pretty much devoid of customers 😐
I had high hopes for that sandwich; it looked good. Disappointing because the food should have been better prepared and fresher. But at least you tried it. And the power station was a fun video.

For a "fast food" chain I am completely amazed how clean this establishment was. That alone is a huge plus for me. Thank you for sharing AK.

You do pronounce the t in Pret. Americans aren't great at French pronunciation - I particularly hate "Carteeyay" 😂
