I'm a G5 guy. Have been for a long time. Megameat heads are the shit! I really like the practice points that comes with each 3x pack. Plus i buy a 3x pack of practice heads. They are identical in flight and point of impact. Same with Montecs.
I just bought the G5 Deadmeats this year for Elk. I almost went with the megameat and my buddy who has downed several Elk in the past with G5 deadmeats said I should go with the deadmeat over the megameat for Elk because I will get better penetration. Do you guys think he is right on that?
In my personal use of the dead meats, I've shot 3 deer with the same dead meat, 1 deer I hit in the shoulder came out the bottom leg, 1 in the ribs, other through ribs and spine. Still sharp as hell and no bent blades. Good as new
I shot multiple deer with same deadmeat as well so I can second that. The megameats however usually bend and break because they didn't get as good of penetration for me and usually stayed in the deer.
I used deadmeats for 2 years and megameats last year. I will be switching back to the deadmeats. They are a lot more durable and penetration is way better. I didn't get a single pass through with the megameats and I shot 4 deer last year. The 2 years using the deadmeats I got a pass through on 7 out of 9 deer I killed those 2 seasons.
@@UnGuidedOutdoorsI shot an 700lb elk at 56 yards pass through died in 20 yards, an 175lb monster doe died in sight, and shot a big Ohio buck with pass through no blood on ground arrow was good and never found him…. Deadmeats nasty but that bucks will was stronger.😢😢😢
My opinion is the broad will work, just like every other one made. But what I worry about is all those blades. I feel too many blades has a chance to stop penetration.
@@brianclay3315 even the crown models ? I shoot them and from what I know about traumatic wounds I think they’ll be fantastic. They shoot true as field points .
Should have the caps off on the milk jugs so it's not fighting the suction...

From your experience do the megameats fly just like your field tips?
@@brux3822mine did
Mine do
I’ve shot both and I personally love the deadmeats more! Super accurate and not bulky at all.
Yeah the deadmeats are awesome
Do they fly just like the BMP practice points out of your setup?
Couldn’t make up my mind so I picked up both in 125gr to try out. Great video 💯
These G5 Super Killers are effective .... mega meat goes thru Elk and Bear here with a 350 grain fast arrow .... no tracking necessary !
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Dude the mosquito on your finger at 3:26😂
Great video. Have you ever shot the mega meat practice tip? Just wondering how accurate the practice tip is compared to real broad head. Thanks
The practice heads shoot identical to the broadheads in my experience.
what equipment are you usuing to film?
One question? Was that a new head each time u shot at diff things or same heads over n over in every test?
I've heard both these heads are very lethal. But also heard they are very non durable what's your intake on this?
Can you show the heads/blades after the rib shots? Did any of the blades break or bend?

Curious, is your bow fully broadhead tuned?
yeah definitely getting the deadmeats after seeing this video ! Perfect 👊🏾
They are a great broadhead.

There both cool but iv shot havocs for 5 years now and scared to switch they where the first mechanic I ever picked up
Will the deadmeats work in a bow set on 53# with 28 inch draw
Yes no problem
Can you make a video of the Mega Meat out of a crossbow please
No! Xbow is not archery
@@jonah-n8l Really? Tell that to the thousands of us who can't shoot a vert bow anymore.
@@JRsVsO can’t and won’t are 2 diff things! If anyone physically can’t then hats off to them use a xbow by all means
What state do you live ? The property is awesome!
This video sold me on the deadmeats
Bro deadmeats are one of the best in the game, I can’t tell you how much stuff we have killed with them.

Try Swhacker vs something. 100 grain
Anyone have an opinion on thorn crown broadheads ? I just think they’ll be great up to medium game .
My opinion is the broad will work, just like every other one made. But what I worry about is all those blades. I feel too many blades has a chance to stop penetration.
Im always skeptical when there is an extreme deviation from what is proven to work and kill well. I think thorns are more gimmick than anything.

Junk
Might have to try out the deadmeats 🤙🏽🏹
Did you guys BBQ those Ribs afterwords?
😂 yeah actually we did
Good one!
You have a new subscriber!
Is that a microtech at the end of the vid?
Yeah it’s mine a utx one of the minis I think it’s a 70.
I got 3 of each in my quiver
Drawing 80# is a bit much for you and at 80 it’s not but a few ft a sec faster not worth it.
This review by far is one of the worst ones Iv seen, no common sense was used at all…….
Thank you Levi
