@@african-history-fountain I think in the distant past African Civilization was so great it attracted global interest leading to it's destruction and current economic rebirth certainly counters everything that current generations expect from Africa because the history has been distorted so much.
There's another Civilization that's facing something very similar in the 21st Century, it's the Euro American empire being rivaled by Asia. If you look closely at current events there is a similarity between the old world powers and new world emerging super powers.

Well you learn by observing, you grow by doing and master the art by teaching others. It is disingenuous to make such throw away comments about this being a copy cat affair. I think “Nord” is very smart branding. If Ford sees nothing wrong with that I see no reason why not. The auto technology is ubiquitous and out there for anyone to deploy. China is today the worlds power house by under studying the west. I remember there was a time when people mocked Japanese goods, then it was Chinese goods. In Nigeria, “Ibo made” was synonymous to cheap and sometimes poorly crafted items. But today, the story is changing. The Ibos are setting the pace in Nigeria. Those who are into creativity whether art or industry, you learn to hone your skills and in so doing improve your product. So you have the first model, then the next, until you are distinguished from the rest.
So ride on Nord, you certainly get my nod!

The Mobius, Wallys, & Laraki are convincingly made in Africa in a good way!
I love the way how purpose-built the Mobius is and Wallys fun-themed daily-friendly aethetics!
The rest are basically a rebadged vehicles from GWM (Great Wall Motor) & BAIC (Beijing Auto) from China.

In the early days of Chevy, people figured out how simple the cars were and bought parts separately and built themselves the chevy vehicles at home...soon chevy realised and started making the parts more expensive compared to buying a whole car from them. So bottom line, borrowing or buying parts from other companies to make your own vehicles is not something that is new. Big up to the African nations from at least starting their own line ups and not relying on the West. Respect 🙌

Seek the Lord and saviour Jesus Christ before it's too late. John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Hell is real and Heaven is also real. You don't want to spend an eternity in Hell torment without God. The only way to escape Hell is to follow Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour.
