Tempest strike is alright, but i slightly prefer ascension, mostly because of its utility. You can use it within your super allowing you to stun overloads too (which is not possible otherwise). It also enhances your movement and can save you if you are about to fall.
Spark of Ion and Spark of Amplitude both have a 10 second cooldown which is kinda imprtant to say since they can be swapped out easily with nearly no loss. Most importantly tho, the "hands on" mod in your helmet is kinda wasted? Since you use disorienting blow, you don't really get melee kills and during the super it doesn't do anything

@@SneakyBeaver not necessarily bugged; having 100 intellect, which only increases passive super regen, doesn't scale with the new buffs to roaming supers. I tried two different Raiden Flux builds, one with 100 INT and one with 30. In an area with high enemy density, both got me my super in around the same amount of time. Before this patch, if you wanted a build that got its super quickly, having 100 INT was a bigger piece of the puzzle. Now it's like 5% of the puzzle, with like 20% of it in mods and the other 75% simply dealing damage.
an arc staff raiden flux build in 2024? thats ACTUALLY GOOD?? yeah no way I'm passing this up, haven't played in a week and even that was just the tomb of the elders intro, def gonna try this sometime along with the other exotic and roaming super buffs
i wished they gave us the option to choose which super we wanted to use with prismatic instead of giving us the 5 we have we can actually use what we want. Would love to us chaos reach on warlock, or arc staff on hunter with prismatic
Yeah lets just ignore several acolytes, knights, wizards, ogres, barrier champs and unstop champs that are also in these waves all of which are on grandmaster and can easily kill you. Please get a cranium with wrinkles.
How is it bad? It literally can deal with anything in the game and the artifact allows it to AOE blind consistently shutting down the entire field of enemies and with ionic traces you’re just topped up at all times as long as you’re getting kills
@@Venti_Depresso lack of survivability, I don't enjoy sitting in the back of the map and that's what is required with arc nowadays. I'm glad the artifact is good but that doesn't fix the issues with the subclass.

No joke with the seasonal mods I actually love using Queens- breaker this episode its actually pretty good for damage and the blinds are super useful.

Yeah...Ascension up in the air, then heavy slam down with Ergo Sum Agressive Frame, and it all dies and blinds...

I had this build before and just tried it again after this video in onslaught. Made 407 orbs in 50 waves
Another thing you can do is run vantage point. It has jolting feedback as well as anti unstoppable rounds

tempest strike counts as a melee kill. AFAIK it works just like lightning surge is an aspect for pris warlock but still counts as a melee kill

if your intellect is already 30 iirc then yeah, it doesn't do anything for your build.

Lost signal - Auto loading + vorpal or one for all
arcane embrace - Fourth times + Precision Instrument

Queensbreaker, song of ir yut, or any other arc weapon for blinding. Otherwise you can run whatever damage heavy like GLs etc
