In an interview with Greg and Alex (I think it was the same in which Alex said the he specifically wanted Greg to be the Taskmaster) one of them mentioned that prior to the show, they didn't really know each other and that it took until series 5 or 6 for them to hang out outside of work.

I think the first minute of this is the only time Alex has seemed genuinely angry at something Greg has said. He looked like he was trying really hard to stay in character and not tell him off. His face at 0:07 is not the face of a servile Taskmaster's assistant 😬
