There are preserved forms of the human body in some museums. It's educational and there is nothing wrong with death. It happens to everyone and everything on this planet. This is respect because if the body was left it would be torn and picked apart by other animals. Here it is preserved so you can appreciate the beauty of the animal and see it up close and in detail.

I know that tactile skills are necessary for taxidermy, but gloves would be wiser for animals that simply drop dead. No no telling what diseases she carries and spreads. typhoid Mary? on the other hand, quite beautiful work. I hope she has a good photographer on retainer
The thing that people forget is that most diseases come from things that are living, as the bacteria needs a living host in order for it to survive, which is why most people who hav3 taxidermy don’t actually get anything from it. But I’m little sceptical about taxi dummy, I’m not whole heartedly against them if they are ethically sourced or you yourself find it dead but it is a little weird. But then weird is fine, sometimes.
dead animals for the art is totally vain. u understand concept without actual death, u dont have to kill anybody nether abuse or collect and so on support death industry, hunters, breeders, smugglers etc. quite mess around parrots, and all short of pets and hunted animals. I cant watch this, it started so brutally, true artist are sophisticated, real artist are not these primitive (sorry, i use word as negative sense, among natives around world is very very sophisticated but primitive habits and customs) actors who pretend that they are something and make us belive that it's art what give to show.
I agree. I think people bought the idea that "art has no limit" without questioning it. What she is doing is disrespectful on many levels. And if you are a believer, I don't think this pleases God nor is it a classy thing to do. And from an artistic perspective, it shows poor imagination and taste. From a mental perspective, it is not healthy. I remember she said that she had dreams of birds pecking her many times in one of the videos. I sent her a message, if I recall correctly, on her channel, to urge her to reflect on the meaning of these dreams as signs that she was not doing the right thing. Dreams, at least in my faith, Islam, have many categories: 1. Motivated by desire (for example, marrying a girl you like, purchasing a car you want, etc.) 2. Nightmare The first and second types are incoherent dreams. They are usually long, and easily forgotten and of no value. 3. Vision. This is usually short, with a message, and sometimes the interpretation is clear as day, and many times they have symbolism that is culture specific. Seeing a camel may not mean the same thing for an Eskimo person as for an Arab person. Visions are clear, vivid, and you remember them very well. I have had only one in my life, and many people that I know have had some. They all have in common that they are very clear, short, and you remember them for a very long time. So she was having a clear dream (if I remember what she said) either in this documentary or in another, that she frequently dreamed of birds attacking her. clear as day. Thanks for reminding me of this. I may search to see where I wrote my comment. I don't remember that she answered. I hope she has success in her career but in other subjects, not this one. This is not simply taxidermy. It is not simply sculpture either. Jackson Pollock was an artist, yet he didn't technically paint anything during his prime years. So what made him an artist then? The fact that he used paint? Get real man.
sorry Polly but even though your work might be poetic and visually beautiful and pleasant, your work is completely wrong at so many different levels. I'm sure you must hear that a lot and have developed a wall to protect you. Nobody is allow to put boundaries to our imagination and our actions, you felt the need to use animals bodies to express yourself seeing them as pure raw matter and calming your conscious sourcing them from ethical sources. If you are coherent with your line of thought, there is nothing wrong in doing the same with humans, right? Sometimes LIFE needs we show some respect and just leave it, and let it go. Why we humans want to control everything? Please, show some respect to Life in this planet and channel your creative talent into another direction.
I feel that some taxidermists actually believe that taxidermy brings new life to animals that were never given a chance in nature. The controversy of her work actually just further proves how brilliant her work is.

Never liked taxidermy. There is no beauty in death.
jnorth1000 the beauty is in nature’s life cycle- cruel cycle
Actually there is , as a nurse I’ve seen lots of it
@@7ofthem I meant beauty in the sight of a dead animal, not in death itself.
taxidermy is not fine art..
Yeah, profound words, Paul. But you kinda need to be able to define art, before you can say what is not art.
the four main fine arts are painting, sculpture, architecture. and photography.taxidermy is not an art. it;s a craft.
taxidermy is skilled bt still a craft.
This is not simply taxidermy. It is not simply sculpture either. Jackson Pollock was an artist, yet he didn't technically paint anything during his prime years. So what made him an artist then? The fact that he used paint? Get real man.
JACKSON POLLOCK BEFORE HIS WONDERFUL DRIP PAINTINGS WAS A BRILLIANT ARTIST AND WORKED IN COMMERCIAL ART.
sorry Polly but even though your work might be poetic and visually beautiful and pleasant, your work is completely wrong at so many different levels. Please, show some respect to Life in this planet and channel your creative talent into another direction.
lol...lighten up a little😉
I feel that some taxidermists actually believe that taxidermy brings new life to animals that were never given a chance in nature. The controversy of her work actually just further proves how brilliant her work is.
uhm...they have that in museums
there's an exhibit that travels about the insides of human bodies preserved
You can buy human body parts legally actually but technically ya are supposed to be in medical field. But sadly there have been news reports otherwise found.
@@artsyamy73 Shut up Amy you sociopathic slut and lighten up a little 😄😄😄
