I have BPH that often wake me up to go the bathroom. All in contrary to a good health per this article. I am 86 yrs old male, I reach this old age by Dancing & attending dance parties , 4 to 5 times a week for at least for 2 hrs. Since I retired at age 65.I dance to 14 different styles of dances, like Ballroom, Swing, Salsa, Bachata, Argentine Tango & many more dances. For 21 yrs now, I have been & still attending dances parties, most last until 12:00 midnight, except the Salsa & Bachata dances last until 2: 00 AM.Therefore I come home in the morning hrs. I did not retire just so I can have a good sleep pattern.I put priority in life enjoyment since you will eventually die, at least I enjoy life.
I kwikstep. I have been dancing most of my life and even now with mobility challenges when the music starts, I can still dance. Music and dancing keep us younger no matter what our challenges are. I also am a night owl. Aloha from Hawaii.

I still work about 4 hours 5 days a week. I'm 77. I think I look younger and I'm not fat. I have an exercise bike and I use it. I have to work on getting more sleep. I'm on TH-cam too much.
Most elderly people have problems getting up off the floor. As a child you spend a lot of time on the floor, adults do not. Doing yoga / stretching exercises on the floor can improve balance, mobility, flexibility and the ability to get up and down.. Just getting up and down to the floor in a controlled manner is difficult for many older adults. Play with your children on the floor. Bend over, get down and pull weeds in your garden. Play with a pet on the floor. The more effort you make to work on balance and flexibility will pay dividends as you age.

Rare that medical professionals actually want you to get healthy. Usually they keep you on meds forever. This advice is quite helpful.

Stop showing seniors jogging as a goodd thing. Maybe light walking. At 77 I wouldn't/couldn't run.
Walking👍
