Have spent so long trying to get this song which is a difficult song to get right….. have watched Paul’s live version on Parkinson a huge number of times….there is something so powerful and beautiful about this composition and Paul’s painfully sad delivery……I read that it is a protest song by some ordinary guy crushed by Watergate and Vietnam and incompetence in all areas of the government at the time…….I don’t have the voice or guitar skill to do it justice but I have enjoyed every second of trying……you have performed an incredible version and have inspired me ….well done
