There are things in life that I can't wrap my head around and one of them is 14 people giving this a thumbs down. This dude flat out NAILS this song, don't think I've seen anyone do it better. I've worked on this sucker myself, and while the guitar part is challenging, it's the vocal melody *over* that part that is the real bear...this isn't something you just pick up and do. Hands down great job, really enjoyed this.
I'm pretty sure it's a mistake. You know like almost all kids songs on TH-cam have as many dislikes as likes. People are clumsy.

@@stephanprenosil9676 Its the best cover that I have heard there may be others better but I haven't come across one yet. George Clements performance is very introspective even meditative, it flows over you like a warm gentle breeze.

When a guitar is played so well it sounds like a recorded studio produced song without any abrupt pauses or errors. This is one of, if not the most amazing cover of any song I've ever heard.

This guy hasn't just got an extraordinary amount of talent in the vocal and playing areas but he has something extra that God gifted to him that 1 in a million have. It's corny but it's that X factor.

Really...you can tell this isn’t his first rodeo at recording.
This isn’t the actual recording. He is playing live for the camera , but what your hearing was recorded in a studio.

My dad just passed away two days ago. He gave the best music education I could ever receive. He played guitar for me, he opened my heart and soul to musicians like Simon and Garfunkel. I wish I could say thank you to him. This song means a lot to me, amazingly was uploaded on the day of my birthday, a present sent a year ago for my future me. This cover it's just perfect.
Same with my Dad. He would play me to sleep when I was younger. It got me interested in music. Now he's not doing to good. Time is cruel.

I had just finished the Camino four years ago. I was walking through Santiago in the evening looking for a restaurant. It was a little windy and a little rainy. A street musician was passionately playing and singing this song. He was far away in his own world having a good time. I had not heard this song for 20 years. When I was a teenager I used to listen to a Simon & Garfunkel Greatest hits album with this song on it. Watching and listening to that street musician for a couple of minutes, was a deep and spiritual experience. The next couple of days I must have listened to this song at least a hundred times.

How many TH-cam music videos do you listen to and then, unimpressed, you move on to the next. This one stopped me in my tracks. Flawless guitar and a wonderful, soothing voice that made me search for more of his talent. Wow!!!

There is a difference between someone just singing a song and being one with the song...this gave me goosebumps, an absolutely beautiful performance.
A beautiful song, I learned it when my best friend broke up with love of his life a girl named Kathy. Never heard it played better than this guy.

10 years ago I left a comment on the version done by Simon and Garfunkel...that comment remains the number one comment to this day...My twin sister and I played this song in the hospice for my dying Father and when we were finished he took his last breaths...our whole family was there.....although our vocals are great, neither of us could play it like this guy does...it is flawless...a beautiful way to make an exit...well done

I've been playing this song since the Album came out. Always one of my very favorites. Just one of the sweetest, most tender songs ever....I still do once in a while. I have to concur with the people here...the best cover I've ever heard of this. I've seen videos of Paul doing this and one in particular was absolutely great. This version is right up there. Hi George, I'm an elderly British Singer-guitarist. I don't know why this video came into my "feed" but I'm so glad it did. I know this song of course amnd most of the other covers that you've done. To me a song, whoever has written it, is about the performer, and you have the talent to tell a story that compels the listener to listen and hear every word. You finger picking style on the delightful L2 (?) id also blissful. I have subscribed and will watch/listen/feel all your videos. Thank you, and please make more!

I'm 56 years old and I have been playing bars, clubs, coffee shops, and even arenas in the day but I have never felt more at home than playing street corner..busking.
