Are you going to attempt any river crossings in that thing 🤔

What kinda horsepower is she push’n? If it’s got 24 valves, it must be a Cummings in it.

The same as a 1978 Corvette, or 2.5X what the Mirage has!

curious how you installed that diesel heater in the front. My delica is the same year, black too.

      Nice!
It was a bit of a pita. I welded a piece of 4”(?) pipe to the flare mounting plate that came with the heater, then drilled. 4” hole through the floor. Had to bend the exhaust quite a bit so it didn’t touch the transmission. If I were to do it again I’d try to mount it under the passenger front seat instead.
The fuel pump is attached near the left front step. I drilled a hole through a grommet behind the passenger front seat and ran the wires for the fuel pump and fuel line up through the floor. A small 5L fuel tank(the one that comes in the stand up self contained heaters)fits perfectly in the rear step well. The sliding door holds it in place. For now I just have a deep cycle battery wired up to the heater and it’s sitting behind the drivers seat, not ideal but it works. I ran a cig lighter outlet off the battery and have a cord with two male cig outlet ends so it can trickle charge off the van while driving. And power the radio while parked and the key off if wanted.
I’ll make a video explaining it a bit better when I get a chance.
