I bought this off Reverb, and it's absolutely AMAZING! Here's a cool hack I found with this pedal, if you turn the gain and attack all the way down and dime the blend and effect knobs, the fuzz channel, when activated, acts like a secondary channel that adds warmth to the main channel. I run this preamp directly into a QSC GX3 POWER AMP. This setup is my main rig now. Let me put it to everyone this way, I have a Noble preamp DI that I absolutely LOVE, but my DiCosimo 360+ is getting more play time than that!
@@omardogknifemartinez2751 : I’d want it as my main preamp into an old Crown Macrotech 1200 in bridge mono or into my old HH power amp. I’d have no use for this for in front of another amp. What Input/Output jacks does it have? Thanks
I bought the last one off Reverb and it's my main preamp now. I set aside my Noble preamp for my everyday preamp for the DiCosimo 360+. Although I must say, with the bright switch up, the attack knob sounds very brittle and harsh and the fuzz is unpleasant when cranked. This is remedied by turning down the bright and attack switch, the fuzz is much warmer as a result. Overall, this preamp is so killer. I hope he makes more because I may just buy another.
Absolutely Great! Almost bought one off of Reverb. Going to part with my 220 head just because I’m not going to have time to fix the graphic which is a common issue with all the Acoustics. The 360 with a Mid control would sick! It wouldn’t be an authentic 360 but it would be cool.
the Variamp part *is* essentially a mid control - I think the positions are 100/200/400/800/1.6k and then the Effect knob is boost/cut. IIRC. (PS: I've owned several of these now --- Hi Dom, just found another one in the wild and couldn't resist trying again with my new amp rig --- and the clean tone is absolutely addictive, while the fuzz is just not quite like any other! Get one if you can find one!)

Can you elaborate on what the Variamp switch does? And I'm assuming the Effect control is a mix knob for it...
The Variamp and Effect controls act as the Mid controls. The Variamp switch selects the mid frequency. The Effect control sets the mid cut/boost.
Are each unit's circuit coated in epoxy ?
