real, I swear once you stop feeling that envy for other people's art you start seeing everyone's art as characteristics that you can pick and choose, like liking how someone moves color, how do they employ value, how do they create mood, etc. And it's like the coolest feeling when you see those things that you love reflected in your art.
It's very cool to see your journey in art, very inspiring and im glad that you like doing it. Looking forward for your vid about values tho ^_^

Hey guys!! just wanted to make a shorter video today, I'm kinda rambling about stuff and repeating myself lol but I hope you guys enjoy it ! 😄
I think that you're doing great in your art progress, and I can completely relate to what you're saying about seeing young kids making amazing art. Its breath taking, I think it's so awesome, and I wish I was able to achieve that level of art at that age, but I didn't. However, it's really cool that the art community is quite supportive. Also, discipline is what I struggled with, but I was finally able to overcome it 😂
Anyway, I think you're doing great and keep on drawing 😊

This really resonated with me since I compare myself a lot to a lot of my fellow artists and pretty much still do, and I'm happy to see you already developed this healthy mindset of being inspired to improve instead
also age is not really a good indicator of how good someone should be at drawing, it pretty much has nothing to do with it, like i've seen people years younger than me draw way better (mostly where comparasions come from 💀) the thing is, the effort you put into it, (not grinding yourself to dust but instead a drive to improve) like these people they've been putting a concious effort to improve since forever unlike me who has been doodling every here and there basically my whole life and only began taking art seriously this year.
in the end, what matters is having fun drawing what you like and finding other people to support each other

also thank u for catching that, i totally forgot to mention that point about age, I do agree and think this! it is about how much practice you put in, not your age. (this is how you know i didn't have too many notes LOL i don't know how i didn't catch myself)

I recommend you start making Shorts if you have time. It could be a way for you to put out more content while also maintaining the quality of your main videos.
You can also use it as a way to show off the less completed stuff and just show us what you're practicing.
I for one think your energy and passion for art are infectious, and some Shorts to hold me over til the next main video would be great!

I struggle a lot of motivation and executive dysfunction. Instead of getting inspired by amazing art, I get anxious attacks and intimidated. I really wish that wasn't the case, so I'm trying to work on it. Hearing someone's positive and enthusiastic mindset about seeing other's peoples amazing art motivates me a lot to change my mindset. Learning! ☺
