- hey what's up everyone!! it's been a little while but I am BACK!! In today's video I wanted to talk about how I wanna warm up to sharing my art online! for a long time I've been pretty adverse to sharing my art with others (mainly bc of stupid perfectionism LOL) but TODAY THAT CHANGES!!!!!!!!!
honestly I think making a follow up to this video in like 6 months or so is a pretty good idea! I'll probably end up doing that, and talk about my experience sharing my art!
ALSO IM SORRY I FLIP MY CANVAS SO MUCH LOL (i made the timelapse speed a little too fast, next time I'll make it slower!!!!!)

hey guys!!! it's been a while but I am BACK!! in today's video i wanna talk about how i wanna start to share my art with others more! I've been pretty self-conscious about sharing it because of stupid perfectionism lollll but today that all changes! 😤‼
I am also a beginner artist,i just started sharing my art recently on youtube,i want to draw really cute animal characters and make them dance but still have a long way to go,it took me one year before i had the courage to share my art,i started drawing around 2 years ago

Hey there! Watching your video brings back memories of when I first started practicing drawing. I believe if you continue, you'll become a great artist soon! Here's a little advice (something I wish I did during my early practice): try to use references for every illustration you create. Hands are a good example of a body part for which you can easily find references (you can even take photos of your own hands). For poses, you can find plenty of references on Pinterest (such as other artworks or photos), or you can utilize 3D software (there are some free options available for character posing). You can also use your own photos if you're having trouble finding ones you like. Using references not only enhances the quality of your artwork but also helps you improve much faster. This was one of my biggest mistakes in the past-I relied too much on my intuition when drawing, which slowed down my progress for years.

Welcome to art TH-cam!!! Sharing your art for the first time is pretty scary hahah, but you learn fairly quickly that other people aren’t thinking about you nearly as much as you’re worrying about them, so it gets easier to share with them for sure. Just one of those things you can only really learn through experience. I love following the progress of new artists, so I can’t wait to see where you go from here! :)

it was refreshing to hear your thoughts and damn your voice is good ! Anyways i was thinking if im too late to start art ? im 19 and out of highschool ....i recently picked up art as a hobby but i feel like im way way behind everyone and if should even pursue it !
thank you for the compliments!! to answer ur question… go for it!!!! it’s literally never too late to start learning, you can learn at any age, it doesn’t matter 😄 i’m turning 21 this year and i only started actively drawing about 3 years ago.
don’t worry about being behind, i wouldn’t even bother thinking about being behind other people. focus on your own growth as an artist! it is your journey after all 👍
and most importantly, remember to have fun with art!

@@countryisntgold thank you and your art is amazing I thought it and didn't say it but your maki made me draw her too but I tend to draw original characters. And i lose myself in world building, story boards and characters personalities

i was like you too so i kept on practicing untill my art looks slightly good and i felt proud of it i had the urge to show it .others must see them 😂 though i have a long way to go but still doesn't stop me from sharing them it gets addicting when you see people liking it makes you wanna share more
