If it what I bought a year ago it was really nice ! Sewed well, washed well. Use some to make an iron board from and it’s holding up great. I can’t say that about other walmart fabrics though.
Made a quilt from this FQ bundle without issue. Sewed beautifully, felt nice, washed with no colors running or bleeding (used color catchers with all my quilts). I wish there were more bundle options.
@@pickinstitchesI've used her fabric in a quilt it's great In fact I've used a lot of WM fabrics mainly Waverly and the quality has really improved from the old days.!
Hi Kelly, Christen @ I See Stars Quilting made a throw quilt from Pioneer Woman fabric about 18 months ago then did a year later update on how the quilt has been wearing after a year of being a frequently used couch throw in her home. Just thought I would mention in case you were interested in checking her videos out. I look forward to seeing your basket/bowl tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
You will love this. Just finished a quilt with this fabric. It didn’t bleed at all! It’s just as good if not better than some of the more popular designer fabrics I’ve used.
@@hugg724, wow. I'm sorry it wasn't a good fit. I starch my fabric before cutting and it holds up really well for me. My favorite is the line, A Walk in the Park. Colors are so pretty.
Love these! I will look them up, have to order by mail, none at my local Wal-Mart. Can't believe that price! I just bought a 34 fat quarter pack for $104.! Today! From another company. These are my kind of fabrics!
Hope the work out for us! The red did bleed a little in the starch, so be warned but nothing a prewash and a color catcher in the first wash cant solve!
Someone on You Tube made a quilt with her first collection and it came out great! She even did a How Did It Hold Up A Year Later video and she said it was doing well and it was one of her favorite quilts .. I can’t remember who it was.
I get a BOM from Connecting threads and I love it. The patterns are well written and the fabric is stunning. Already signed up for their 2025 BOM. I have a bunch of their fabric. It's very comparable. I was looking at this Christmas bundle earlier. Mary have to go back and get it now after seeing it.
I buy fat quarters from Walmart of all the Superheroes. I have a bunch of great grandsons and they all got a snuggle quilt with their favorite. And my adult granddaughter got Harry Potter. Thanks for sharing
I bought some of this line as well. It’s so happy and cheery I couldn’t resist. But…I’m still in the “petting stage” with this line. 😆 I haven’t cut into yet so I’m super excited to see what ya make with it. I have a hard time visioning a quilt or project with such busy prints. But I have no problem putting them in my cubby’s and pettin them. 🤪
@@pickinstitches ahh that would be pretty. Some of the flower prints are pretty big…you’d probably have to fussy cut some of them. She really put some gorgeous, bright, and vibrant flowers in this collection.
If you're ever concerned about bleeding maybe look for an alternative to Bella 97, it's PFD (prepared for dyeing) and literally designed to take up dye. Bella 98 and 200 are always in my stash. Cute fabrics, but not available in Australia.
Hmm . I already threw them in the starch. I have never seen one NOT shrink a little. And I often am in a rush and will throw it into warm or even borderline hot starch:)
Hi Kelly, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to make videos and share them with us. I have a small suggestion, try to make your videos shorter, less overall talking and to the point, specifically when you are opening and showing your purchases. Life is too short 😊
I have never tried Pioneer Woman fabric. I generally love Moda fabric but at $125-$150 For a day quarter bundle, it adds up quickly. There is one brand called "pure" something or other. It was awful with starving! Tons of bleeding. I had to waste a bunch that wouldn't wash out clean.
I have seen the fabric and bought some yardage. It is horrible!!! It is thin and cheap China crap!! My store has discontinued all of her products, because too much was returned- including fabric.
Have you ever sewn with this fabric?

Yes, it's so soft and lovely.
I bought some Loralie fabric through Walmart when I couldn't find it anywhere else. Liked it just fine.

I love the white background with the fanciful birds the best too ❤😊

I've made two quilts with the Pioneer Woman collection from Walmart. I'm happy with the quality.
Wonderful!
I haven’t used them but it seems like a nice line of fabrics. A good choice for those who sew on a budget and can’t afford quilt shop prices!
We shall see! I cant wait:)

If you like those colors…the Julia collection by Crystal Manning for Moda Fabrics is similar.

A little! Prewash or starched to help but nothing terrible!
I've used them and love them. No bleeding. I've also stocked up on the her yardage for backings or borders.
Great idea!
I made a quilt for a friend out of it and the teal and burgundy solids bled. It made up pretty but was so disappointed with the running.
@@BeckyMortonWeeks I always try to prewash if I'm worried about it. I had a purple stain sashing on one of my early quilts, such a bummer!

Kelly, did you notice a shortage of fabrics at Walmart? Some people have mentioned their STORES were selling at rock bottom prices on yardage.
