Love the review and love the character. Solemn Vow is a great idea, I'm definitely going to try that out. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that investigator signature cards aren't considered to be level 0, they don't have a level, which would mean that you can't get them back with Scrounge for Supplies.
Huh. That's the sort of unintuitive fun ruining I expect out of this game, so I can believe it lol. I read level 0 as "not experienced," but it's entirely possible that signatures are some weird, other thing.
From the rules section about multi class cards: "Lola Hayes: A multi-class card will count as a card of each of its classes toward her Deckbuilding Requirement" Should be the same for Suzi.
I'm very glad to see you do another AH video! I was very happy when you appeared in my recommended videos. TH-cam knows. I nearly lost it when, "Oh no, something happened to the lab assistant again! It's fine, I'm going to vomit her back up again later. It's fine, don't worry about it."
Fun to see you do Arkham videos again! Not sure they made 5U-21 not allow permanents because of balance reasons (balance feels irrelevant for a gimmick character) -- I think it was more that permanents disrupted the flavor of eating... EVERYTHING.
I considered the idea that it was meant as a flavor extension of the strange upgrading rules, everything being temporary because you're eating everything. The issue is that almost all the permanents are not really... things? The upgrades like Cyclopean Hammer? That's a thing. Charisma? I know we eat aspects of reality with our weakness and all, but I feel like the permanent cards are generally more conceptual and less eatable than the normal experienced cards. It still doesn't really work for me.
@@RatherIncoherent Permanent cards do tend to represent conceptual/abstract things more often than not, but its worth remembering: 5U-21 is a bud of the blob that eats *EVERYTHING*. An asset being conceptual/metaphysical/transcendental in nature wouldn't stop her. XD
When I finally wrap up this XCOM campaign (about a month), I'll probably do a lot more Arkham content, and I'll either be playing or reviewing that for sure. I can definitely recommend it though. Much like the official Return Tos, I don't see myself playing Innsmouth without it in the future.
Glad to see you back in Arkham ^^

This is in the FAQ. They have no level, instead of level 0.

Also, Premonition would be fantastic for Suzi, right?

Are you enjoying Return to Innsmouth? Will we get a review on that?
