This one is about a girl going to her first metal concert on her 15th birthday. That breakdown in the middle is one of my all time favorite things in music. And how can anyone NOT headbang with Yui and Moa screaming "HEDOBAN HEDOBAN HEDOBAN!" Do Babymetal Death from this same concert Legend 1997. There is a very good version here on TH-cam. It was the finally of this concert that the videos you have watched of Gimme Chocolate, Headbanger! and Catch Me If You Can came from. The girls sing very little but the stage show is jaw dropping. It's really one of the most metal things I've ever seen any band do on stage. Oh, and it ends with a tribute ti Metallica's ...And Justice For All tour back in the '90's. Though it's subtle.
You seem to get even more enthusiastic with each new reaction! lol I'd definitely recommend Megitsune next..... it's one of their most energetic songs and also the most Japanese sounding. Released originally back in 2013, it has improved even more live over the years!

I would recommend Sis Anger, since Yui and Moa do the lead vocals and the drummer is going crazy in that song but, I've been recommending Akatsuki at Budokan for awhile now, and now it seems that several other people are as well
Headbangeer is one of my favourite babymetal songs... i don't know, the rythm is insane and creepy, and the lyrics are awesome. This live version is the best version of the song. You shoud do Megitsune or Iine (the budokan version please) (with two ii, iine). Megitsune is AWESOME and Iine is a WTF song. And of course AKATUSKI (live at budokan). They tear the place apart and the crowd is insane. The usual band takes a break so they have a mime band, but as someone that's heard BABYMETAL live, it sounds JUST as amazing when they play it :)

Might as well go through all the bands' staple songs, before getting into deep cut epics like "Tales of The Destinies". The staple songs left are "Megitsune", "Doki Doki Morning", "Iine" and "The One". Maybe "Awadama Fever" too, as it's like the sister song to Gimme Chocolate, in some ways, very catchy. "Akatsuki" is a fan favorite, especially for metalheads, but even the pop fans too. Still got the Moa and Yui solo songs to check out also :D, which are usually Nu Metal inspired, but better than Limp Bizkit LOL. You could maybe do a little poll in the comment section, and on Twitter, with the 3 or 4 most popular requests, and see which everyone picks the most.

Hi, there is one thing i would recommend at the Point you are now discovering BM. It's an alternativ Version of headbanger, the "night of mix 15" Version. Its totaly playback and no guitar riffs in it. So why recommanding this ? Ist simply to grasp all facetts of BM, 'cause there you could focus on what the 2 little girls are doing without being blended by all the other things. I think this is an important Part of this Band besides the ridiclious good Kami Band and the amazing Su.3 Weeks ago I never heard of BM and now I hear nothing else. I'm listening to Metal since 30 years by now and seen nearly every big Metal Band live. I played myself in Bands but this is like a Virus. I never was this infected by any Music like this and i realy have a wide spread of Genres i hear.Your reactions remind me of my own. Just stepd on a link to "gimme chocolate" three weeks ago and thought "hm, what the heck is this". Checked out Karate then the others vids and got totaly hooked.Have fun on your journey.

I enjoy your reviews. Everything you've reviewed so far (except Karate) is from the 2013-2015 timeframe.. Please review "The One" (any version, does not matter). I would like your view on a more adult version of the group. Something else you need to listen to, not necessarily review (no live version yet as they've never performed it live) is From Dusk To Dawn, which may be the best thing this band has ever done.
Love all those bands! There's a real awesome and refreshing wave of female fronted bands in the rock/metal and idol scene right now in Japan, and it's so badass :D. Scandal are really fun. Touch My Secret are also great. Mutant Monster are a must to listen to! Really got addicted to them lately. Mary's Blood, Aldious and Mary's Blood are a given ;) \m/

I enjoy your reviews. Everything you've reviewed so far (except Karate) is from the 2013-2015 timeframe.. Please review "The One" (any version, does not matter). I would like your view on a more adult version of the group. Something else you need to listen to, not necessarily review (no live version yet as they've never performed it live) is From Dusk To Dawn, which may be the best thing this band has ever done.
This is probably the best version of Headbanger you can find. Not nearly the same intensity on the album.

Do you like hard rock too? Cuz there is a really cool all female band from japan called Band-Maid that I personally like a lot.
Band-Maid is great, but I would have to go with Aldious as my second favorite Japanese female band
TheSteel Falcon Aldious rocks too. Mary's Blood is also a really cool female metal band.

Love all those bands! There's a real awesome and refreshing wave of female fronted bands in the rock/metal and idol scene right now in Japan, and it's so badass :D. Scandal are really fun. Touch My Secret are also great. Mutant Monster are a must to listen to! Really got addicted to them lately. Mary's Blood, Aldious and Mary's Blood are a given ;) \m/
